Especially since Cell, Particularly in his perfect form, is a generic villain, IMO.
Wakamoto surprised me this episode, but not in a bad way, to me this new take makes the most interesting form of Cell even more so. He can change up the voice for the second form too if he wishes, as long as he matches the delivery and intensity for the perfect form. Because if not for Wakamoto, Perfect Cell would be a complete throw away character, so I hope the rage will be there in full force.
Back to this episode, Wakamoto's vocal inflections were all over the place, making Cell seem very chaotic. And while there were no "beughhh" type sounds (not yet at least), there were tons of other creepy ass sounds he made, I particularly enjoyed how he lingered at the end of sentences. I really loved every time his voice got monster like and guttural.
Pacing once again was just right, making for an exciting episode, I was happy to see that military bullshit cut out. The music wasn't as solidly used as the last episode, but it fit fine none the less. But then I don't remember the Z version of this section being anything too special either, so it's apples and oranges musically.
