Do you mean "they are" with "their"?

Yes, if you can't add it to the cart then it's out of stock. For anyone who hasn't bought it, too bad the lowest price on the Amazon Marketplace is $37.

It's still in stock on Amazon.ca and check out the price: $48.71.
Unless I manage to take advantage of a pre-order price, I tend to get animé products such as this on Amazon.com as it's cheaper even with the currency conversion.

Re: Dragonbox Volume 2
What the heck?... It doesn't even say "Out of stock (more on the way)" like it does when things are normally out of stock... This doesn't mean... that FUNimation is discontinuing these sets after a set amount of time does it? Or is Amazon just not carrying this set anymore due to poor sales or something?
I really hope they aren't going out of print, because I want to be able to buy the future sets at my own leisure, because there are more things I need than just the Dragon Boxes (though they are high on my list)...

Re: Dragonbox Volume 2
Well, the season sets does rules the first 16 in the Bestsellers In Dragon Ball in Amazon and then Dragon Box Z can't be seen until number 20 and Z 2 is in number 25. Why is this? Does people choose the season sets because of the Widescreen (So it can fit perfectly in the TV without losing any view of the footage!) and Digitally Remastered? maybe because it's cheap? Or maybe because people don't know what there buying?

Even Dragonball Evolution is higher than that! I don't know if I should laugh or cry at people's stupidity... but due to the possible implications this might have, it's probably the latter...
Re: Dragonbox Volume 2
Rightstuf still have it in stock. Amazon might get more in.
Re: Dragonbox Volume 2
1 and 3 are still in stock so don't worry. Plus, they wouldn't release 4 out 7 and then quit.Metalwario64 wrote:What the heck?... I'm glad I got mine at Best Buy - $24.99 for both 2 and 3 last week!

Re: Dragonbox Volume 2
I know that, they are selling just barely enough to make a profit so they should all see release. But it's also possible that they haven't run out of their stock of Dragon Box one, so we don't know if it's out of print or not (and of course, we don't even know if box 2 is discontinued either; it could just be Amazon deciding not to stock them any longer).Goten2008 wrote:Plus, they wouldn't release 4 out 7 and then quit.
It's also sad that all over YouTube and Amazon (and possibly other places) people refer to comparisons of Dragon Boxes and season sets as "Dragon Box vs. Remastered" and say things like "What should I buy, the remastered or Dragon Box?", which is horribly ironic regardless of the person's intentions.Toriyama-sama wrote:Even Dragonball Evolution is higher than that! Re: Dragonbox Volume 2
Sites like DVD Aficionado generally indicate whether or not a specific title has been discontinued or out of print and, on my last check moments ago, none of the Dragon Box releases have that message. Amazon seems to be going through a redesign, so perhaps this is a glitch.Metalwario64 wrote:so we don't know if it's out of print or not (and of course, we don't even know if box 2 is discontinued either; it could just be Amazon deciding not to stock them any longer).

Re: Dragonbox Volume 2
I doubt Amazon is going to stop stocking them in the long run. It just seems that Number 2 is selling well. Best Buy has them listed as Back Ordered meaning they don't even have enough to fill current orders.

Re: Dragonbox Volume 2
Also prior to that Amazon listings said that Dragon Box Z 2 would be shipping within 1 to 3 weeks so it doesn't seem strange that they (Amazon) is out of stock.Goten2008 wrote:I doubt Amazon is going to stop stocking them in the long run. Heck, makes me continue to think: Should I actually buy them?
When, I am buying Kai on BD, and highly prefer it.

Re: Dragonbox Volume 2
Coincidentally, Dragon Box 2 sold out at AnimeNEXT and apparently Otakon as well, according to the video of their Q&A session there (I only went to NEXT). Somehow, it just seems like #2 is a really good seller.

Hmm... Perhaps many fans of the season sets realize that Season Two is entirely too bright and get Dragon Box 2 so they can watch those episodes without going blind?Char Aznable wrote:Coincidentally, Dragon Box 2 sold out at AnimeNEXT and apparently Otakon as well, according to the video of their Q&A session there (I only went to NEXT). There are fans of the Season Sets?Metalwario64 wrote:(and before anyone says I'm insulting fans of the season sets, saying they have no right to like them and that they need to go out and buy every Dragon Box available or else they aren't "true fans"... I'm just joking...
Never mind... no one answer that.
