The two pictures have different Kanji symbols I just realized... the first has (Gold) (something) (something) and the second has (something) (Complete) (something)

Oh, wait, didn't even see the first pic :P

The second character of the first cover is 'Mizu' (water) 水

The second cover has as said 'Kanzenban' (Complete Edition), 完全版

Fair enough then. =D Just found it odd that they didn't go for the usual Budokai kanji. But Budokai 3: Kanzenban works for me too. XD

So, is it a new Budokai game or is it an improved version of B3?
(Hence the name:Kanzenban)

Nobody knows yet, altough it's likely that it'll be almost the same like the Japanese version (with the outfits and all)

I think it's safe to say that it will be DBZ3 on a Pal disc. :)

Part of me can't decide if I should bother with it or not.

If you already have it, I wouldn't (unless you're a wealthy collector or can swing it with no sacrifice).

Also, no one already with the game should support this cheap marketing strategy.

I mean granted I would like to hear the Japanese voices and truth be told, I do like the look of the new costumes. But if that's all we'll be getting... I dunno. I'll wait and see how much it costs.

I will,
I'll trade in my Budokai 3 for the Collectors Edition,
and then I'll trade Budokai 2 PS2 for Budokai 2 GC and this way I'll have the 2 Budokai games on 2 systems both with Japanese v.o. as it should be

Apparently it will be released here in the Netherlands on the 17th of June,
since I just recently finished 100% (I now it was dus time but I got everything 9 times),
I will trade in my version for the C.E. and we will see if the save transfers over.
Anyway anybody else will be getting this?

Well I to want to know if it'll transphere my save over. If so, I might look into buying it. But then again, I've heard it'll cost £30. If it was £20 again, I might consider it but not at £30.

Well I'm in Canada and have a North American PS2.

Guess I'll have to wait for the Gamecube version 'cause I can use a freeloader for imports. :D

I wouldn't hold your breath for that. I'm pretty sure I read there are no plans to release DBZB3 on the GC.

It's not announced, but after two previous releases, I think we can assume that there will be a third port.
It's party time, Ginyu style!

I know this is off topic, but did the gamecube Budokai 2 have the Japanese voices? As in the US released version? Because I'm a US resident with a humble American PS2 and no gamecube.

Both PS2/GC US Budokai 2 have the FUNimation voice cast.

We Europeans had Japanese voiceovers for the GC version of Budokai 2. Succes!

Another B3 Collector's Edition cover. This time, it says Collector Ban.

Damn my American PS2's limitations, and damn Atari for holding out on the extra costumes and Baba movies, it's not fair! :x

Oh well, I'll get over it, at least I have the satisfaction of saying I have 100% in just about every American PS2 game for DBZ; those including Budokai 2, Budokai 3, and Sagas (however Budokai 1 is another story, to this day I'm still missing some capsules and only have 2 breakthroughs, but 6 dragonballs will forever be stored away).
