Favourite female character

Post by Piccolo Daimao » Fri Sep 10, 2010 5:02 pm

Now, because the majority of the main characters in Dragon Ball are male characters, individual fans' favourite characters end up being one of the Z-Warriors. This means that there aren't that many people whose favourite character are a female character, since the females' role in the series are mainly background characters. So, I thought it would be necessary to have a thread to explain who your favourite female character in Dragon Ball is.

My favourite female character is Lunch, because I think she was a fairly original character. Her sweet side was nice, but her character really came alive when she switches to her trigger-happy blonde persona. Her aggressive moments lead to some comical moments, and it was sad to see that Toriyama just completely forgot her after the 23rd Tenka'ichi Budokai.

I love Bulma. I know she is a jerk most of the time, but I love her no matter what.

My favorite female character is Bulma because she is just funny with her temper and such. Also because later she is the wife to my favorite character Vegeta.

I'm not trying to mini-mod but, seriously, work on your grammar. It's terrible in this post. Use "love" and not "luv" we try to use proper grammar for every member although some don't but still.

Sorry about that: I forgot you are suppose to use good grammer in these forums. Anyway, how long have you been using the internet?
I was using a slang word for fun. Many people use those type of words for fun, so dont be a jerk and say I have bad grammar just because I use one slang word.

No one uses good grammer in social networks. It's not that we dont know how to use it, but we do it for fun.
It doesn't matter how long you were on the internet for. All you need to know is to use proper grammar since this isn't a social networking site. OT: Videl Pre-haircut, Chi-Chi, Bulma, #18, and Marron.

Android 18, absolutely. She's awesome, bad ass, and beats the crap out of Vegeta. 8) Not to mention being hot. >.> I just wish her power hadn't been static, and so she could have kept up with everyone else (at least to some degree) and still been important in the Buu arc.

While I often find Bulma attractive, useful, and interesting, the majority of the time I just want to punch her. She's selfish and whiny, vain and spoiled, and she ruined Yamucha's reputation.

My favorite female character is Videl. If Bulma was supposed to be Toriyama's idea of an independent, strong-willed woman, Videl was him finally getting it right. Well... no, I won't go that far. Bulma is a well-designed character. She just annoys me quite a bit. It's just sad that Videl was neutered (spayed?) so quickly, and even though it's not canon, the Great Saiyaman filler is the stuff I most wish was canon.
Do you follow the most comprehensive and entertaining Dragon Ball analysis series on YouTube? If you do, you're smart and awesome and fairly attractive. If not, see what all the fuss is about without even having to leave Kanzenshuu:

Blonde Lunch, she cracks me up.

Android 18, for the same reasons that Xyex gave.

But I think my personally favourite is Saiyaman arc Videl, always enjoyed her character.

Lunch ^_^ She's just such a doe-eyed sweetheart who's everyone's mom till she sneezes, then she's a fantastic ballbusting take-no-prisoners crazyface who blasts off from the scene of the crime on her motorcycle. I love both her personalities and their eccentricities and how they coexist much to Ranchi's confusion about it all. Then there's the fact that her Blonde form has always made me think of Ayla, and it just gets better from there.

You know, till Toriyama drops her off the face of the goddamn planet. Good job.

Lunch. Mainly because she is the least whiny female character.

I'd also have to go with Lunch.
She's got such an interesting contrast between her two personalities, and watching her interaction with other characters is always hilarious, no matter which form she's in.

Bulma, in DragonBall mostly. I love her mood swings and how funny the moments with her in it are.

In DragonBall GT my favorite female is Bra. I like her personality (what we see of it anyway) and how she influences Vegeta. And I like to fantasize and make fanstuff about her because she has so much potential for those things... XD
