Well, we got the English dub with German edited footage of Naruto back when it started on Channel Ten a few years back. So it wouldn't surprise me to get 4Kids DBZ Kai.

Wow...editing halos now. Raditz lives. I guess Master Roshi, when we're not looking, will lock him up in an Earth dungeon for the rest of eternity.

When Anko introduced herself for the second test, I recall the sign behind her having been paint edited to be translated into German. It was quite surreal seeing a Japanese sign translated into German for an English dub. Also, the German censorship resulted in the removal of weapons and corpses and as a result the show often made very little sense. I stopped watching the show on TV some time between episodes 30 and 40.

Interesting. See, I watched the show on Cartoon Network, so I don't remember seeing much editing.

I'm a bit late to the party, but in episode 3 when Vegeta and Nappa are talking, and Nappa suggests bringing Raditz back to life, Vegeta's line was changed rather subtly from "Why would we waste a wish on that worthless scum?" to "Why would we waste a wish on that worthless rat?" Whether or not this was in the Nicktoons version I'm not sure.
I guess "scum" is a little too harsh...?

Funny they kept Nappa suggesting bringing Raditz back to life when they added groans to make Raditz seem alive.

Well, Nappa calls Goku a "scum-sucking pig" in the Nicktoons version, so I'm not sure.

Holy Blue on a Popo, what did I just see on my TV?! Seriously, it was edited pretty poorly too. I guess you could say Popo joined the Blue Man Group for 4kids.
