I don't really know that much about the HSCF figures line, but, by any chance are there figures of Goku or Gohan when they left the RoSaT? Or even of Goku/Gohan wearing Saiyan armour ( Like Vegeta's)?

OH MY GOD I am stupid. I read "HG" as "HSCF" for some reason. Add the fact that those are the HSCF figures I have and... Wow, I feel stupid.DNA wrote:Hey, some are really cool, take Daimao for example, he looks awesome, others, not so much. I've got around 87 figures from the HG line for a reason. My favourite collections have always been Saiyans and Jinzoningen, hence, I will collect these new DG Jinzoningen, and if the armoured Saiyans start coming out on the DG I will collect them too. I'll probably leave everything else as is.Great Saiyaman I wrote:But...but I like my figures. Except maybe Nail. His head looks like peanut.DNA wrote:Yeah, HG #17, #18 and #16 are the ugliest figures I own. They're just so damned ugly.

Re: Mike's Upcoming JPNS Toy Releases Thread
No there are currently no Goku or Gohan figures in Saiyan armor in the HSCF series. There is a Trunks figure in Saiyan armor coming in the next release though, so it's possible Banpresto will rerelease Goku or Gohan in that look. Banpresto does love their Goku variants after all.jordanator wrote:I don't really know that much about the HSCF figures line, but, by any chance are there figures of Goku or Gohan when they left the RoSaT? BTW here is a complete pictorial checklist of the HSCF figures:

Last I heard they (figures.com people who own the site) were doing some server upgrading/maintenance. I'm not really sure what's taking so long though.

Re: Mike's Upcoming JPNS Toy Releases Thread
Received these today:

Authentic Goku on right, Bootleg Xicor on left.
They're bootleg AF figures based primarily on the molds of the Real Works and HSCF figures. While I'm generally against bootlegs especially those of the new, more recent releases (as they easily fool buyers and generally do nothing more than cause me headaches) I actually purchased these as they are not straight copies. As opposed to some factory worker stealing the molds and producing their own inferior duplicates, these are (mostly) original sculpts based on Toyble's DragonBall AF Manga.
While still technically bootlegs, I see these more as mass produced custom figures and thus worth my purchase. They are surprisingly high quality and feature detailed paint jobs, with little or no slop. They do have that distinct bootleg odor though... The SS5 Goku and Freeza's mother appear to be entirely new sculpts built from the ground up. The normal Goku and Xicor are obviously based off the HSCF Goku body with Xicor having an entirely new head, and the Goku having a mostly retooled body. The duds of the set are the Broly and SS3 Vegeta as they are straight copies of the HSCF SS3 Vegeta and the Real Works Broly. I believe they gave Broly a new tail here though. What's also interesting to note is that the bootlegger/customizer took the stand from the Real Works figures and actually removed the Z and changed it to AF.

Are there any set release dates for the S.H. Figuarts? I'm going to start collecting them.

Re: Mike's Upcoming JPNS Toy Releases Thread
Found some new S.H. Figuarts.

Sorry the first image is so small. You can find these better pics here, in the comments.
Lovin' that Kaioken Goku, especially since I couldn't get an HSCF of it. The only thing I don't like is that there's another Base Goku, but whatever.

Those aren't figuarts, they're model kits.

Re: Mike's Upcoming JPNS Toy Releases Thread
Some new figures were announced at a Banpresto Prize Fair:
Lots of nice additions to the Legend Of Saiyans Line (Compatible of course with the Freeza Force figures)
In case any one forgot they previously had announced series 1 - 3:

Just revealed:
Series 4

Series 5

Series 6

The Phantom Saiyans are an extremely nice surprise and despite all the hate he gets I think this might be the first Bio Broly figure ever. I haven't bought any figure in this line yet, but I may have to get Bio Broly when he comes out. Definitely some amazing character choices in this line.
They also revealed some other figures including some funky Roshis which you can see here:

Wow, the first Bio Broly figure. That's really cool, I'm kinda tempted to pick it up. But what's really slammin' is that phantom Roshi figure!

I saw first over at tomopop.com but seeing it again just gives me tingles.
