Here's a scan of the right side of the pg with the ssj4 character design. Just copy it and zoom in and everything fully showing there like what's written on that ssj4 character design and around it should be clear enough for somebody to translate.

Whoever came up with that idea could've atleast kept the gold color on it, though GT's "SSJ4" hardly makes any sense at all for several reasons, it would atleast make more sense when it comes to color, and look cooler, than red hair...

There seems to be sort of a question and answer section in the book. Here's a scan of one part of it(If that is a question and answer, judging from the pic, it could be one I've had for some time...).

Q: When Goku rides Shen Long at the end, where does he go?

A: ...

Maybe some other time, LOL. :P

That's just what I thought the question was. They couldn't just clearly explain it in the show(Shenron just shoves some Dragonballs up Goku's ass and they disappear? There should've been more details... :P ). I always wondered what was on their minds. I also thought there might be a delay in getting the answer, after all, it's the question you've always got, and the answer you really want. :P

So, my DBGT Dragonbox arrived today...and I was actually pleasantly surprised. I was expected it to be more whorish, from the pictures, but it's actually pretty nice. I'm looking forward to actually watching it this weekend.

Now, to continue with the learning Japanese...

I hope someone is able to translate that text for us soon. I am now very curious what it says. :o

The SSJ4 character design looks to be by longtime Toriyama-style doppleganger Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru. :)

I'll have some screencaps up shortly, but in the meantime, I've found a HUGE problem with this release.

Episode 64 closing credits...GONE!

Ok, the whole "Dan Dan" montage plays at the end, but it's completely creditless. After "The End" pops up, a regular set of credits plays for episode 64 (the "Sabitsuita Machine Gun" closing sequence).

I'm beginning to wonder, maybe that gigantic credit roll at the end of episode 64 was just a special TV-only type thing. Or maybe the credit track was thrown away a long time ago. It's definately strange that they're not there...

That would be the kind of thing that drives completists mad and considering the price, this is a completists' box set. So there must be a good reason Toei Animation didn't put it in.
The reason is probably one of the two you mentioned above. I would guess the latter, as I would imagine it would be odd for Toei animation to lose it considering that it isn't particularly obscure footage.

I'm going to be making all my updates on the original post of this thread. So be sure to check the 1st page for info on this DVD set.

[EDIT]Phew, got all the screencaps up. What a pain in the ass...my post looks like a programming script. I think I'll take a look at that Zeni next...

Full-house bonus info is up.

By the way, if you know Japanese and want to take part in the survey, here are 9 of the Zeni codes needed to submit it (I'm gonna save the 10th one for myself).

I don't think they can be used multiple times, so if you actually want to use one, please make a post and I'll cross it off the list (please don't waste them).

Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

Also, it allows us to carry out the user questionnaire on the internet from the period of June 15, 2005 until July 31, 2005 in order to take consultation on the planning of future products.
So they're wanting people to send them questions that'll help them plan on future things? If so, hopefully countless people will have something to say like, "Will the previous dragonboxes(or atleast the DVDs that they had) ever be available again? If not, it's extremely foolish considering how they could've made several times more if they weren't only limited time items."

Just read through the first page... very neat! Do you mind if I link it on the main page of the site?

Couple points/questions:

(1) I'm glad I've kept my raw VHS of the last few episodes for the Dr. Slump previews and the credit-roll at the end of 64 :D.

(2) Is the commercial for Final Bout not included? I'm shocked. I captured it offa one of my tapes for our AnimeNext panel. Glad I had it somewhere!

No, it's like a survey. You give your personal info, then answer a series of multiple-choice questions about Dragon Ball, GT Box, the upcoming DVD box, etc.

Go right ahead. I'm still gonna be adding more info over the next couple days, though. And if you ever want a feature or something on all the Dragon Box sets, just let me know, I'd be more than happy to whip something up.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting the Slump previews, but I was definately disappointed about the credits. I was happily surprised with the GT episode 1 preview, though.

Nope, the only commercials are the ones I listed. Personally, I'm just keeping my fingers crossed for a shitload of extras on the movie box (maybe a couple bonus disks to wrap up all the loose ends, such as missing commercials, previews, etc.)

Upcoming DVD box? No hints as to a release date, are there? ;)

No, it's not specific. It just asks "What special extras do you want on the DVD Box?" and then lists stuff like staff/cast interviews, language clips, commercials, figure, T-shirt, drama CD, etc.

Naturally, I'll select all of them. :D

I demand that commercial of the thousands of kids all dressed up as Goku running down the street chanting. I wanted to use it on the panel, but had no idea which tape it was on, or if that tape was even in this state :P.

So it's rather obvious there's going to be a movie box set. And I'll actually be purchasing this one.

Yeah, I'd love to. Between you and MajinVejitaXV, I think I'd have everything I'd ever need. I'm actually working on a new feature right now covering all the stuff we showed at our AnimeNext panel (The DBZ You've Never Seen), which includes some stuff Corey sent me from the DBZ boxes, so it'll be a nice little intro :).
