The TV you have makes all the difference on the picture quality
; some literally will spend over 5000 dollars on a TV. I spent around $6000 for a very high end TV that will last for years
. It's huge
, to
o.
I have the latest in the Sharp Aquos 65" lineup.
Now let the picture wars begin.
I have seen
Dragonball on a 3D TV with those cool glasses
. It's a si
ght to remember
.

We had this thread a while back covering it (with pictures, occasionally):

Soppa Saiyjins from Dorgou Ballru Zetto is my favorite transformation everah, especially when Trounksoru did it in front of Seru and when Bejita did it when he faced Jingonigen-hachigo. But for real, I use the FUNi pronunciation. - Soppa Saia People

You most likely have a projector as I've looked for a 400" tv, seriously, you need something that big for home?
I'll take pics when I get home.

I have a 22 inch Sony Bravia. Not the biggest, but considering my setup, it's the right size.
Nice to know it looks good on your TV

I'm not going to post a picture, but I watch it on my crappy CRT TV. It's dying, some colors are off, and it has terrible scan lines. Oddly, the Dragon Box: The Movies set looks amazing on it. The day that I finally upgrade to a new TV is going to be a great day.

Edit* Seriously! IF I HAD SOMETHING THAT BIG, MY EYES WOULD
literally POP OUT. Lmao!
Edit* Ohhhh I can't stop laughing... If I had the money to actually make my walls come down, I'd probably die of laughter, 400 INCH? Can you believe how LONG my walls would have to be? hahahahahaha.

LMFAO that and your previous comment was the best shit I've read all day.
Uh and for me...I have no clue when it comes to how big or what kind my TVs are....but basically I have a 'normal' sized one in my room I watch it on and when I get the chance I watch it on my mums much bigger TV in the living room.
Late last night and the night before
Tommyknockers, Tommyknockers,
knocking at the door.
I want to go out, don't know if I can,
'cause I'm so afraid
of the Tommyknocker man.
My name is Zep, as in Hindle. If you call me Keamy instead, it's Kay-mee, not Kee-mee, there is a difference. And dammit Serp, my name is not spelled "Kreamy".

I've only been watching Dragon Ball and other shows on my 29" CRT (with NTSC support

). I'm hoping to upgrade to an LCD one day.

Okay! Typically, there's two main pieces of machinery I watch my DragonBall goodness on.
My own laptop, a good ol' Dell Inspiron E1505:
And even better, the newest addition to the household array of gadgets, a Samsung 42", 120Hz LCD HDTV. Seen here proudly displaying Movie 12.
Yaaaaay!

And the Dragon Box would look terrible because of the upscaling.

I finally made the upgrade to high definition several months ago... a 42" LG Plasma. I was so hyped.... I needed it because I was sick of not being able to read things on my screen.... it wasn't until several weeks later when I got an eye exam, I found out it was my eyes' fault, not my TV's.
So now I've not only been upgraded from regular to Plasma, but I've also been upgraged from crappy eyesight to good eyesight, thanks to my new glasses. Dragon Ball has never looked so good!
Yo! Cal's the name. Nice to meet you!

If you have a PS3 you can watch it in 4:3 Ratio.

I have a UK PS3, which won't support region 2 DVD's. On my DVD player, it says that is 4:3. If it isn't, my DVD players is retarded.

Can someone tell me good picture quality settings for watching Dragon Ball Z on my HDTV. I have Vizio. What I mean is what should I put for contrast, brightness, color, tint, sharpness, etc.
