Can't blame them. It's about time that someone said something to Piccolo about his very homophile comments and overall homophobic attitude. It doesn't mix, so of course there has to be a compensation over some complex there.
And I have to say that it's among one of my favorites. Other favorites are when Kame Sennin is fooled by Yamcha into believing that he gave birth when having a huge dump priorly. "Mother...mother!". "GIVE ME MY SON BAAAACK!".
