Yeah, by the time the Boo Arc rolled around, I just felt that it was a tack-on. To me, it was clear that Toriyama didn't really have the heart to continue the series, but was more forced due to fan demand. Yes, I know he said he enjoyed drawing the Gotenks vs. Boo, but everything else just seemed really lazy and at the end of it, he was just pulling ridiculous plot twists and devices out of his ass. I know a lot of you who think the Boo Arc is the best arc in the series will probably disagree with me, and I don't want to start another "Which is better, Cell or Boo Arc" argument, but that's just my opinion.

That's always one thing that really bothered me about the Dragon Ball fandom. There are 508 episodes (Dragon Ball: 153, Dragon Ball Z: 291, Dragon Ball GT: 64) in the entire series, which is more than any anime so far besides Pokemon (at least in terms of Shounen animes). Not only that, but there's 3 specials, 17 movies (4 Dragon Ball IIRC which I probably don't, 13 Dragon Ball Z), an OVA and god knows how many video games, yet fans still want MORE MORE MORE. I don't even get why, if there was a new series, we'd all know how it would go, there'd be a big bad villain, the heroes would try to confront it and get beat, they'd train, and in a dramatic final battle, Goku (or maybe Gohan) would win. Anything else, like most of the good guys dying due to a villain which causes Goku to go emo, which leads to Chi Chi cheating on Goku is, to be frank, no longer Dragon Ball, but rather, another series using the same characters as Dragon Ball for it's own purpose.

And before people say it, fuck Goku Jr. and Vegeta Jr., they are less original than Sonic re-colors.

The series ending is not a bad thing. I think I might die if it were any longer.

My post said that a new series for Dragon Ball would just be a new villain is introduced, heroes try to fight the villain and most likely lose, they train, Goku or maybe Gohan beats villain. What I then said was that this is pretty much the only plotline that one can use for a Dragon Ball series, because using another plotline, such as the angsty one I provided, is very, very ill-fitting for Dragon Ball. Granted, there was an alternate timeline that was bleak and depressing, but that only existed as motivation rather than being a main plot-line.

Sorry for the confusion.

Oh, sorry, I didn't read your post through properly. I thought you meant that Goku became an emo in the series or something. :)

Oh, that guy. He was just doing what FUNimation told him to. So if you want to blame someone, blame FUNimation.

FUNi only told him to cropped it into 16:9 and remastered it but I don't think like this.

Every fanbase is terrible (in many aspects). You just don't realize how truly horrible a fanbase can be until you're part of it.

If they did continue it, I think they should kill off Gohan and focus on a new character, like Trunks(let him grow up!) or Videl, or something.

Yeah, they should do something like in the 86 Transformers movie, where all the old characters get toasted for good :) That would be rad.

Silly, Rocketman. If that picture was in color, you'd be able to clearly see that that man is painted blue.
Do you follow the most comprehensive and entertaining Dragon Ball analysis series on YouTube? If you do, you're smart and awesome and fairly attractive. If not, see what all the fuss is about without even having to leave Kanzenshuu:

Soppa Saiyjins from Dorgou Ballru Zetto is my favorite transformation everah, especially when Trounksoru did it in front of Seru and when Bejita did it when he faced Jingonigen-hachigo. But for real, I use the FUNi pronunciation. - Soppa Saia People

Because the transition between Dragon Ball Z to Dragon Ball Kai made Popo switch from Black Ranger to Blue Ranger.

Kaio-sama is gonna be pissed. More so than General Blue was when he lost the title.
