In the Budokais, don't you find the "Videl's Close Call" odd?

I haven't played Budokai 2 in a while so I'm not sure if the same can be said for that, but in Budokai 3, check out how Videl's "Videl's Close Call" move happens. It might just be me, but it appears the designers had fasioned Gohan into a "Neo" (from the Matrix) style, which I find quite awesome considering Neo and Gohan have quite a few similarities First off, look at how Gohan rescues Videl, looks almost exactly like how Neo rescued Trinity in Matrix Reloaded, also after Gohan and Videl beat the enemy, check out how Gohan flies off after Videl waves "bye", it's kind of fast but you can notice his right hand going below his waste in a "Neo flying" stance and then fly off just like the "One" from the Matrix trilogy.

Anyone think Dimps did this purposly to give Gohan a more of a "Neo" embodiement in DBZ? The dub sort of supports this as well, I recall one episode (when Gohan was training with the Z sword) where Kaioshin stated "What did I tell you, Kabito, Gohan is the One". They already look similar physicly.

Well, its an 'Ultimate' so you cannot expect it to be a very long sequence. You also cannot have Gohan hanging around either, it is Videls Ultimate.

As for 'The One' comment, calling someone, 'The One' is heavily used so no one is copying from one another and was this episode created before The Matrix?

As far as I know, the term "The One" from the Matrix was (I heard) directly copied from The Highlander. What, am I the only one that has ever SEEN that series?

"There can be only One!"

Pft, it's been done in superman too really, the damsel falls, but the hero catches her at the last moment! If anything it's the sweetest , most endearing move in all of fighting game history. XD

It is kinda odd that in 18's and Videl's Ultimates, Krillin and Gohan will turn on their family and friends for some chick...

Well, it's not just the whole flying in and catching Videl thing. Look carefully at how Gohan flys off after he and Videl wave bye, his body does a slight bend overish thing and he places his right hand below his waist in a Neo stance. It's quite fast, but anyone with eyes should be able to catch it. Anyone else notice this?

I was eternally hoping that the hack-Bulma in Dragon Ball Z3 would have retained Videl's Ultimate attack, but instead replaced Gohan with Vegeta.
