I was going to post here and call it, (and the two before that, minus Dabra) but for some reason didn't.
How lame... I don't get Broly's following. Not at all.
Edit: 1000 posts eh?
Me neither. Whenever games just have Bardock and Broli as the extended universe characters, it always leaves a bad taste in my mouth.nathantheguitarist wrote:How lame... I don't get Broly's following. Not at all.
You mean aside from the fact it's 2vs2?dragondyle wrote:This game seems just like Tenkaichi 3 (or Sparking! METEOR) only it's on PSP. Is there anything new?

I hope so...Jaruka wrote:You mean aside from the fact it's 2vs2?dragondyle wrote:This game seems just like Tenkaichi 3 (or Sparking! METEOR) only it's on PSP. Is there anything new?
The story mode looked pretty new, from what we saw in the trailer.Jaruka wrote:You mean aside from the fact it's 2vs2?dragondyle wrote:This game seems just like Tenkaichi 3 (or Sparking! METEOR) only it's on PSP. Is there anything new?
I watched a bunch of videos for RB2 just now, and aside from gawking at the amazing graphics, I noticed a couple touchy instances of glitchiness with the camera. Like, it'd shake violently if the opponent in the right/wrong spot. I think that's common in the Sparking games, but I'm not really sure. Anyways, the 4-man battles are fairly hectic, but other than some camera tweaking, I'd say it could work. I don't know if it's really a different fighting engine though. I've only actually played the first Sparking/Tenkaichi and this demo. heh...LeprikanGT wrote:People who have the demo: how is the 2 on 2 battles? Do you think it could easily be ported to the Raging Blast fighting system or is that game a completely different engine?
Back to my last sentence, from what I've seen in the demo (and the videos on Namco-Bandai's site) is that the levels look like graphically toned down versions of what's in Tenkaichi/Sparking 1. Some levels look exactly the same, just crappier. Like the ruined city, or the road with the creek and area off to the side. The level in the demo is just some hills and grass lol. The levels aren't really impressive, but considering it's a PSP game, they do seem fairly large... I guess? I think I'm just disappointed in the graphics because I was watching RB2 videos for like an hour.LeprikanGT wrote: Are the worlds more Budokai or Tenkaichi?
Third option on the Japanese Demo was a Promo Video. That, and SCEA's super compression is why the demo is like half the size of the Japanese one.nathantheguitarist wrote:Also, I downloaded the NA demo today, and the only options are single-player and multiplayer. What the hfil was that third option on the JP demo?

Does anyone know if there will be any alternate costumes in this game? (I can't remember for the life of me if either Shin Budokai did, but I'm leaning towards "no")
And in the English demo, Android 19's voice is different than the original dub. Has it been different for recent games and I'm just now noticing? What's the new VA's name, and is there a possibility this will be his voice in Kai?
On that note, any word on which Gohan will be present? Or Freeza for that matter?
The screenshot under Freeza Henchman's character page shows Kid Gohan and Krillin in Saiyan armor pretty clearly, so there must be at least a few alternate outfits.nathantheguitarist wrote:There's a video up of the whole unlocked character screen. It doesn't look like there's alternate costumes...![]()
Even though it's nothing new to Dragon Ball games on the PSP, it's annoying to hear recycled music.nathantheguitarist wrote: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WrkwN4LR-yo
I didn't even watch it with sound. All I know is`that the music from the demo was more new than anything I last heard, which is good, because I'm at the point where I can't play Shin Budokai with music on.Piccolo Daimaoh wrote:Even though it's nothing new to Dragon Ball games on the PSP, it's annoying to hear recycled music.nathantheguitarist wrote: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WrkwN4LR-yo
It's a battle theme from Tenkaichi 3.nathantheguitarist wrote:I didn't even watch it with sound. All I know is`that the music from the demo was more new than anything I last heard, which is good, because I'm at the point where I can't play Shin Budokai with music on.![]()
It's not... anything recycled that far back, is it? I's scared to listen now that you said that.
