Dragon Ball Evolution. This movie could have been the next box office blockbuster, but it seem like waste the idea on a crappy movie lossey based on the Piccolo Diamo arc. If they made a movie with a budget of 150 million and based off of the Saiyajin saga then the movie would have been great or decent. Fox and James Wong where not the right people to work on a Dragon Ball movie.
I would like to see someone try to reboot the series by 2013 or 2014.

Why are you calling her a bitch? It's reasonable to understand that African Americans would be offended by a racist blackface stereotype like Mr. Popo. People are just blowing this whole Blue Mr. Popo thing out of proportion. I'm not backing this kind of censorship or anything, all I'm saying is that I understand why some people would be offended by it--and if they hadn't censored it, you would get all kinds of complaints asking why there's such racism like this on children's television.Nazi Cola wrote:This bitch.Budogenkai wrote:4kids.

Blue Mr. Popo is so not the worst thing to ever happen to Dragon Ball. It doesn't even have an impact on the rest of the DB fandom. I find it funny how a one-off piece of censorship on Cartoon Network can attract so much hate from people who just don't understand.

Blue Popo was an amazing creation. Good parody fodder.

Pan - Most annoying character in Dragonball GT and also the worst thing to ever happen in Dragonball.

The rushed-ness of GT and the absolutely HORRENDOUS animation of GT. Gt was a very decent idea in theory but with the overall lack of animation talent, it lost major credibility.
And DB Evolution. They weren't ever TRYING not to make that movie a joke.

GT's animation was the best and newest of the three series. If anything, Z's animation was horrendous at times.LeprikanGT wrote:The rushed-ness of GT and the absolutely HORRENDOUS animation of GT.

I feel like and hope that was sarcasm. For one, Kid Goku was drawn horrendously; especially his hands and his eyes throughout the entire first half of the show.Piccolo Daimaoh wrote:GT's animation was the best and newest of the three series. Case and point: THIS is SS Vegeta in GT -

It wasn't. Z's animation was fucking terrible at times. Especially during filler. I think there was a thread about it. I'm not denying that GT had it's share of "bad animation episodes", though.LeprikanGT wrote: I feel like and hope that was sarcasm.
That's from movie 6. The movies had a much higher than the TV series. Thus, higher quality animation.LeprikanGT wrote: http://images.myfavoritegames.com/galle ... e6_291.jpg
I said GT had the best animation out of the TV series. The animation in the movies is obviously better.

Did you not even LOOK at the screencap of SS Vegeta? it doesnt even LOOK like him! Just because it's the most recent doesn't make it thet best. I'm sure MOST people who have a problem with GT is either the enimation or the huge ammount of plotholes it opened up.Piccolo Daimaoh wrote:It wasn't. Z's animation was fucking terrible at times. But just to be fair, theres SS vegeta from the show:

that looks exactly like Vegeta.

Yes. There have been worse instances in Z.LeprikanGT wrote: Did you not even LOOK at the screencap of SS Vegeta? it doesnt even LOOK like him!
Not many people who hate GT complain about it's animation. Why? Because the animation in Z (the series they like so much better) is worse at times.LeprikanGT wrote: I'm sure MOST people who have a problem with GT is either the enimation or the huge ammount of plotholes it opened up..
Notice how most of the shots in this thread are from Z?

Re: What is the worst ever thing that happened to Dragonball?
Did you seriously just find the ONE example of people LOOKING for the worst screenshot from the show? Ok, honestly......did you not notcie how terrible Goku was drawn while fighting in space with Pan and Trunks in his base form? Tell me you saw that. And how you can justify the above picture of vegeta.Piccolo Daimaoh wrote:Yes. I admitted that GT had it's share of "bad animation episodes". Some episodes looked crap, I'm not denying that. But there were much more in Z.LeprikanGT wrote: Did you seriously just find the ONE example of people LOOKING for the worst screenshot from the show? Re: What is the worst ever thing that happened to Dragonball?
Where are these episodes you speak of?
And there were 291 Z episodes and like 64 of GT, its not a fair comparison.
What do you think the top 3 complains on GT were?
Plotholes
no one but Goku doing anything
crap/rushed animation

@LeprikanGT One of the reason of why people like GT is because of the animation and now you are saying that their animation is the worse.

Re: What is the worst ever thing that happened to Dragonball?
Well, it could be a fair comparison, depending on what Piccolo Daimaoh is arguing. If he's stating pound for pound, episode for episode, then, yeah, it's not fair. But if he's talking proportionately, then it seems perfectly valid. GT was made the same way as all the other DB series: (near) weekly airings with a rotating stable of animation studios for each episode. So by that explanation, the number of total episodes is irrelevant because they were still being produced to the same standards at nearly the same rate and in the same time period.
Do you follow the most comprehensive and entertaining Dragon Ball analysis series on YouTube? If you do, you're smart and awesome and fairly attractive. If not, see what all the fuss is about without even having to leave Kanzenshuu:

Re: What is the worst ever thing that happened to Dragonball?
Db & DBZ both had articulation of the hands and every person had their own design for eyes. Theres a distinct scene in GT where like 4 or 5 characters are sitting in a row watching Uub fight in the tourny and they are all licking a lollipop and they all have the same eyes.
Kid Goku's fingers almost NEVER had segments unless he was SS or higher.
Kai has the best animation, then closely followed by Z, then BD, then way down at the bottom is GT.

Exactly. And I'm pretty sure they both had similar budgets, and GT still looks better. Having plotholes is one thing, and having bad animation is another. Don't let one cloud your vision of the other.Gaffer Tape wrote:Well, it could be a fair comparison, depending on what Piccolo Daimaoh is arguing. Re: What is the worst ever thing that happened to Dragonball?
I feel like I'm watching a different show or something. Almost everything w/ the trio in space looked terrible to me. After they got the the Baby and SS4 stuff it looked fine, and then it went down hill [see above picture of vegeta] and then it got better with Omega at the very end. The MAIN SS4 fights looked great. It was the extremes of the two...when there was no action it looked terrible and then in a fight it was great. Z was pretty consistant with the good animation flowing. I'm not sure which parts everyone is refering to as crappier than GT, honestly.Piccolo Daimaoh wrote:Exactly. And I'm pretty sure they both had similar budgets, and GT still looks better. And i'm sure Z had a WAY bigger budget since it was an actual manga, w/ GT they were just making stuff up as they went along. [Yes i'm aware thats not how it ACTUALLY went]
