I doubt THAT particular struggle would logically last long, but atleast they added clashes into that game as well.

Beams vs beams
Beams vs balls
Beams vs SEW
Beams vs "rush supers" [those quick dashes like Frieza does]
Ball vs balls
SEW vs SEW

All of those should be possible. SEW should last as long as your ki doesn't run out. I think thats how some beam vs beams should work; you can power it up and whoever ran out of ki first loses.

Yeah there have been struggles in a few past games, although its mostly been spinning the (%#$%^&* analog stuicks for the win. I think it should depend on which character is stronger and also who had the most ki and who charged up the attack.

God, the people on Dragonball Wikia are really annoying me, they're completely ignoring the 'random' slot and saying we have two characters left, now and then they concede on a point and go back to square one. They all kept chirping about how there are 69 slots and after arguing them down they admitted there were only 68. Then they natter on about how we have two extra characters left, two what-ifs. I then say how one slot is random, meaning we have 67 slots taken over and how the last is probably the 'abc' slot for DLC like we had in Raging Blast... They agree with this and then say how they still have two characters left, what the Hell?

More annoying than that though, these two people post on every reply saying the same things about the two characters, 69 slots, etc... Even though they were the same people conceding on my points earlier! These two are also the people who made the admins say that it was unconfirmed whether Dore and Neiz were new or returning! Jesus Christ.

I know what you mean. I do admit I've been checking it to see if they know something more than we do (which is very unlikely, when I think of it), but this is a problem from a wiki, everyone can edit, even people that clearly have no idea what they're talking about or take some assumptions of their own as facts (just check some blog discussions that they put there)! I sometimes contribute there and I do believe that there are users there with the best of intentions (SSJ Goku93 being an example), but it's kind of annoying when you see 14 years old poorly discussing in a blog that Kid Trunks and Kid Goten are stronger than SSJ2 by the time they fight Jinzōningen #18!

Japan may be a "little bitty country" but its got a bout a BILLION people. The U.S. alone is only a few hundred million, on the low side. And you have to remember, it's the country of origin, DBZ is way bigger there.....just like the Simpsons and Family Guy are huge in the US.

Has Tarble seen shown with a rusg move yet? So far all I've seen is 'generic beam', 'generic ki volley' , then his awesome ultimate. I hope his 4th move isn't just a stat booster.

Japan, in the 2010 estimate has approximately 127 million people, pretty much the same as the 2004 census...
As for Tarble, you bet that it's a "status booster" or something like "Wild Sense" or "Aftermimage" or even "Explosion Wave"...

So much for the Japan has a bigger population argument. Us has about over 300 million. Dragon Ball just has a bigger base in Japan.

Eh, they wanted to keep Lord Slug on the list but after I proved their evidence to being bs and a little more debating I won and got him off. Sometimes you have to set down an ultimatum otherwise you would be arguing for nothing.

The interview that we all got the "what-if information" from was just misinterpreted, that's all. Once asked about new characters, the representative replied, "and two characters created exclusively for this game", which could be taken to mean what-if. I don't know exactly what characters they are talking about, but it is either SS3 Vegeta and SS3 Broli or Tarble and Hatchihyack, and I am leaning towards the latter. As Hatchihyack is based off the version in the new special included on the disc, and Tarble never fought, so no matter what they do for a moveset, it is exclusive to them for now.

What probably happened was someone said 'there will be two what if chracters'.....and people assumed that meant two brand new ones; not returning ones.
