You really think that? I think the one's with real animation are better, like Budokai 3.

I didn't mind the animated openings but they were always too 'light hearted and happy go lucky'. With this new one, it feels like theres an actual battle going on. I don't want to use the word 'epic' and be all stereotypical...but it looks to be that way.

Yet they always have the big blasts the same color. They could color differentiate more. Perhaps add a few smaller characters than like the strongest 4 and a few main baddies.

The video is cool, but I think the new OP song for this game is what will steal the show here. I'm dying to hear the full sized version of "Battle of Omega"!

I don't have sound right now so I haven't been able to hear it but if it is overshadowing that great of an opener, it must be amazing.

Did we ever have Head Cha La as an opener? I thought maybe since B1 had rock the dragon, Japan had Head cha la.

Opening is great and the song is fantastic but this certainly isn't my favorite.

I prefer real animation openings and my favorite still is the opening for Budokai 2.

Fighting scenes aren't all that important for me in those openings. Of course it's awesome when they fight, but tbh if I see Yamcha or Tien in action, that's already top notch in my head. I prefer the openings that include earthlings. In this opening it has Goku turning SS 1,2,3, it has Yamcha, Tien, Krillin, Piccolo and Gohan using their attacks in row. The way Goku and Vegeta fused to Vegetto was nice too and then suddenly all the explosions on every island that was seen, after that there's the fight between Goku SSJ3 and Kid Buu.

And in the end we get to see a very little moment of most of the characters together, Tien, Chaozu, Yamcha, Krillin, Gohan, Vegeta and Goku. All that + that awesome song.

Oh yeah, there also was Future Trunks at one point, so yeah.. all my favorite characters in one opening.

Surely can't get better for me.

Yeah that's the one I'm talking about, but it's not complete crap. Budokai 2, Final Bout, and the others that have real animation are all better.

Broly can't be in that fight because remember that Dr. Raichi hates Saiyans? Why would he use one? Even if he is stronger than all of them.
