Re: "Raging Blast 2" Pre-Release Discussion
When by review then I mean by my thoughts on the demo. Here what I think of the demo:
I think it was actually pretty good. I love the graphics, and the battlefields feel very life like. The combos are much better then the last game if you ask me, and I think the ultimate attacks are much better as well. The framework is still pretty bad, and I think that can be fixed before the game is released. The controls are the same from the first game, and do take a while to get used too.
Overall it was fun, but its not that much different from the first game. Maybe when I try out the full game then I will change my views.

The video I posted earlier that shows off Raging Soul has Goku deflecting Buu's ball.LeprikanGT wrote:Does anyone have a video of a character knocking a beam/blast into the background?

Nope.SparkyPantsMcGee wrote:In all honesty, I think it would be cool to have music from all elements of Dragonball. The original music, Kai's music, Falconor's music. It would really bring the "simulation" aspect to a new level for every type of fan. If I were a developer I'd do it, but I'd also make sure to allow fans to pick what music they want to hear. Hate falconer deselect his songs as an option and etc.
America is the only country that had Faulconer music. Not many people are still hung onto it and it would be a waste of time.

Damn. Raging Soul looks so badass. I'm already sold on the game, so I'm not interested in downloading the demo.
Re: "Raging Blast 2" Pre-Release Discussion
I just need a practice mode, and around 1 hour to mess around with the combo system.

The song playing in the background is an instrumental version of Battle of Omega. I think it's mind blowingly awesome that as soon as you do that special power up thing the vocal version starts to play like an insert song.
It feels like I'm really kicking ass!

Actually, the majority of American fans are interested in it, and they make up quite a high percentge of the sales of theses games.Thanos wrote:Nope.SparkyPantsMcGee wrote:In all honesty, I think it would be cool to have music from all elements of Dragonball. Re: "Raging Blast 2" Pre-Release Discussion
Faulconer's muic being in the games would be a bigger selling point to me if I wasn't already buying the game anyways. I'm more than tired or just made up crap during battles [not the opening song.]
The site updated yesterday and today. I absolutely LOVE the pic of Buutenks and Gohan from the show on the info page.
Returning character models = Future Gohan [SS], Zangya, Bojack [and Full Power], Pikkon, Nail, .....and I 'think' a new video?

Re: "Raging Blast 2" Pre-Release Discussion
While I don't doubt that the number of people still interested in that score is larger than what an average Daizex user would like to believe, I doubt that its inclusion would increase sales very much. As it is, the music in these games are kind of a mix of brass, electronic, and rock. It's sort of a sweet spot where a fan of either score can find something they like.mystic trunks wrote:Actually, the majority of American fans are interested in it, and they make up quite a high percentge of the sales of theses games.
I actually really like the video game music. There were only one or two songs from Tenkaichi 3 that I disliked. Didn't get to play much of Raging Blast, but I dug what I did get to hear.
I still think the music from Budokai 2 was the fest. I'm so in love with that character select music it's sick. It tickles my Funk Rock bone like no other video game music ever.

Re: "Raging Blast 2" Pre-Release Discussion
The score isn't a huge deal in battle, anyway; I've got all the Faulconer theme music on my PS3 so I can re-enact battles that way.
Re: "Raging Blast 2" Pre-Release Discussion
If they were to include the Faulconer Score in Raging Blast 3, and if it were to sell more than the 1st 2, this entire board would be making the same excuses they made for the remastered sets: "It only sold more because it's cheaper" or "It only sold more because it's the last game". Cheap ass excuses you guys make.

Daizex is home to many kind of fans, but I'm pretty sure Mike has said on the podcast that its existence is geared mostly towards fans of the original version.
Put up or shut up, basically.

I don't really care for the score really, for fighting games I just play the games for fun. I can care less if the game has music from the dub or not.

The game will most likely allow in-game soundtracks anyways.

The first one did, Burst Limit did, so I'm completely confident that this one will too (on the 360 anyways, I don't know how that works for the PS3 guys). It's actually been one of my favorite aspects of the new games, being able to use my music from the BGM 3-disc set, and stuff from the Complete Song Collection Box in the games.Rostir wrote:The game will most likely allow in-game soundtracks anyways.

Aww you guys had me really excited for a minute there. I have a PS3 and being able to use my own music for games is a big thing for me. I thought all x-box 360 games let you play music. Is that not true?Ex-Dubbie369 wrote:The first one did, Burst Limit did, so I'm completely confident that this one will too (on the 360 anyways, I don't know how that works for the PS3 guys).
