Not really. Some people come in here to bash the game.
Well that's pretty stupid. For me I am pre-ordering it and doing so from Australia so I get the limited edition and also the alts for most characters, what can I say? I am a sucker for manga colors lol.

Maybe what they are actually hiding about Slug is that they'll keep him for the next game because from now on they will reanimate one of the movies in every game as a marketing strategy and the next one will be the Slug movie, including him and all of his henchmen in the next roster?

What? We can dream. If they reanimated all of the movies one after the after, I wouldn't dislike it... 8)
But if they were to keep a character as a marketing strategy for the next episode, why would it be Slug? Especially if they're to reanimate a movie everytime now. I know they never made any statement about that, but do you think they'll just give fans a major thing like a remade movie in the second episode and for the third go "oh no, sorry guys, this time there's just the game and no exclusive dream bonus for the fans"?

Could it be possible that Spike just didnt have time to put Slug in the game?? I mean it isnt entirely their fault that they dont get to produce a really great game until usually the 2nd/3rd installmeant. The pattern usually goes like this, the first game is the test run, the second is the vast improvment basicaly what the 1st game should have been but wasnt because they didnt have enough time to work on it and finally the 3rd game is the best of the three but really is just what the 2nd game whould have been if the 1st game would have turned out like the 2nd (hopefully y'all understand what I'm trying to say). If anything I think Namco-Bandai is to blame for some of Spike's faults they only give them a year to develope a game.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

What will happen when they add all movie villians and henchmen?

There be no more need for sequels?

The developer would think that, but they could make improvements to the fighting system and add in options like pause button and the ability to select the difficulty level.

I have to pay about £20 extra just to get the Collector's edition... fml.

Scratch that, the normal edition would cost me £33 and the Collector's will cost me £66.

Thing is, I'm really tempted by the collector's edition...

"Collector's Edition" to me would mean that the game had a lot of content. Characters, Clothing, Moveset, Battle Stages, etc.

Well the thing is that I collect the games rather than figures, DVDs or whatever (aside from Dragon Box) and as such I've always shelled out for the special editions, Hell, I have the normal Budokai 3 and the Collector's one. Also it took a while to acquire the Raging Blast collector's edition and I don't want to have to hunt again

There would still be DB and GT to put in.

I seriously doubt they would go from an unreleased movie to randomly going to Slug's movie. Though you do have a point about the animated special, they could do 2 things to continue this little trick.

1. RB3 can have scenes of Hatchyaack's other endings and alternate paths that were in the old game but weren't turned into the special. This could have their marketing ploy be Hatchyaack with a transformation, or if they bring giants back, and have his giant form because Yack can deform back down to his original look.

2. They give us another Japanese only special.

Or I just thought of a cool 3rd option and that is they animate the little manga of Neko Ball Z and have Kuriza or Z from the series in the game. Which honestly would just be amazing to me if they actually did that and plus for real hardcore Z fans the Neko Ball Z characters could be a nice little Easter egg. Plus it would be another "NEVER BEFORE SEEN" type thing.

I hope that characters that aren't included with the game to be included in some DLC. I'd really enjoy DLC for this game, some decent DLC. :D

"Just a quick question: Did you happen to record vocals of Turles for the upcoming DragonBall Raging Blast 2 game and the accompanying anime short film, before you left anime voice acting?"

Chris Patton: "yes, and no"

No... Here's how I see it.

Dragonball: Raging Blast 3
- Features the most complete Dragonball Z roster - They literally just finish and add every villain and hero worth mentioning (Including Bardock's crew)
- Slightly improved graphics from Raging Blast 2 or go back to Raging Blast's (depends on reception, I guess)
- Full story mode, complete and using every character in the correct places (Removed it in RB2 so they may re-add it)
- Customisable Ultimate Attacks (probably wont add any more supers except for the new characters - Not sure if this feature is in RB2)

After then they can release two more games finishing off the rosters for Dragonball (Called here Raging Soul, they wouldn't want to add another number after 3) and Dragonball GT (Raging Future here) which solely focus on either and have a story mode centred around it and perhaps a sixth one with a amazingly complete story, all the characters from Raging Blast 3, Raging Soul and Raging Future - Probably pushing 200 at this point, five games worth of stages, graphically improvements and fighting system improvements.

Then after that they've cashed in for six games, the sixth will probably sell very well due to it being the essential Dragonball experience and almost everyone with one of these consoles would want a game that complete. So instead of spending six years developing one Dragonball game they sell us Betas at every stage, pretty good business strategy if you ask me.

After then maybe Namco'll hire DIMPs again or a different publisher, after a few games Spike will come back and do something else, essentially what happened with Tenkaichi 3 then Burst Limit.

For some reason, I think they'll mix these styles some kind of way.

Think it'll have 2 vs 2 like Tag Vs?

And that's why I detest them. I just want a game which features everything from Dragonball/Z/GT. Enough said.

Hmm, I'm not sure about the Tag thing, I'd love to see it but... I'm not sure Spike would do it for the Raging Blast series, it may be a feature in whatever they want to do next though.

I don't really hate them for this, then again I do admittedly see each game as a Beta going towards a final game...
