What do you guys think of the Raging Blast 2 opening video?

You really think that? I think the one's with real animation are better, like Budokai 3.

You mean the one where Broly overpowered Gogeta and made him bleed? Because that one was absolute shit.

Yeah that's the one I'm talking about, but it's not complete crap. Budokai 2, Final Bout, and the others that have real animation are all better.

Broly can't be in that fight because remember that Dr. Raichi hates Saiyans? Why would he use one? Even if he is stronger than all of them.

Although it is my favorite Spike opening I still don't see all the all the praise around it. It's certainly nice that the characters' have better models and there's no Broly but it still seems off.

I hated the Sparking! openings for the crappy models, stiff animation, and artificiality. This still feels like it just not as bad. I've enjoyed the Budokai openings more more since they are more lighthearted and have traditional animation.

Although it does get brownie points for the song. It has a very Super Survivor feel.

Can we stop with the "real" animation thing? By saying that you imply that the 3D animation is somehow false or fake. The proper terms would be traditional, hand-drawn, or 2D animation.

That being said, I really dug this opening. I have to agree, best 3D opening by far. Way to step it up, Spike!

Well...it just looks like the generic mash-up fight that we've seen before in Tenkaichi 1 and 2's opening too. I prefer Tenkaichi 1's intro to this one, since I feel it's just got more colour and variety packed into it, than this one, which I feel is a little...meh. Not bad, but not great. Bonus points for not including Broli or any of the obvious standard villains, though.

My favourite intro remains Budokai 2's, because of its 2D animation, comedy and variety.

You really want to start this here? On a thread about Raging Blast 2? He didn't mention anything about the dub, all he gave was his opinion. I don't see the animated openings being too "light-hearted and happy-go-lucky" as a bad thing either, but he's entitled to his own opinion.

This definitely took me back to the first Sparking!. The premise of this opening may be same the same as...every other one, but the twist at the end caught me by surprise.

The surprise ending was awesome though. (Makes me even more excited for Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans!)
