I don't think it was ever confirmed US would get one for PS3 my guess is it won't and you should just download the Japanese one or buy the game.

If anyone wanted to know; the Raging Blast 2 NA PSN demo is now available! Just go to the store & search
"Raging Blast 2", then scroll down until you find it. (has a picture of Kuririn with the logo)

Quits Ben 10 mid-level and runs to the PSN. Dooooooownloading!

Odd that they picked Krillin for the ocon figure.

I swear if there is that same 'video output error' crap for the NA demo, there is gonna be some serious genki dama drama 'round there parts.

Holy Black on a Popo, it works !!! The graphics look so much better on the tv than the computer.

Holy crap, I just saw what everyone meant with the AI being so aggresive. I soooo hope that it is calmed down for the actual game.

I just played the demo on the ps3. What did they do to the controls?! They completely nerfed it from the ps2 versions =[[[[[

It is so hard to play now.

The controls seemed about the same to me...except I had forgotten where the block button was.

Yeah, I kept clicking L1, until I realized it did nothing.

Rb2 special, will it be available for a limited time?

Post by Puertovelli777 » Tue Oct 26, 2010 11:34 pm

I wanted to know if it will remain a permanent feature on the disk, or will it be a digital download for a limited time. I want the game but I'm not sure if it would be worth the $40 I would be paying on amazon. Can anyone convince me why I should buy this game? I own every single game released in the us and even a few Japanese releases, I just recently brought Tenkaichi tag vs and I'm enjoying that. I would like to know if they incorporated the same elements in this game to Raging blast 2. I really enjoy 2 on 2 matches, and that would be great if they could do it with rb2, if marvel vs capcom 3 can have 3 on 3 battles then why can't rb2 have at least 2 on 2?

Yes, it will remain as a permanent feature on the disc. IDK if there will be a digital download.
Here's a discussion about it.

I played the demo it feels a lot like rb1. I didn't notice much of a difference other then the graphics. The Ai seems to be a bit improved, but I'm still not convinced why I should get this game. It has no real challenage for me.

*SIIIIIIIIIIIGH* Define "no 'real' challenge" on a game you've never played and as of yet haven't even seen everything thing the game has to offer?

Sounds like someone thinks they are 'too good' for this game...skill wise.

Is the newly animated special not good enough for a buy?

I actually agree with you but lets be realistic here. The special will be up on youtube within the games release day.

No it isn't, at least not for $60 if he isn't sure he wants the game itself. I mean, I wouldn't pay $60 for a 30 minute movie, would you? I personally want the game though. I'm actually getting really impatient waiting for the release, so it is well worth the price to me. I do understand why people are hesitant. The game has gotten massive improvements from all of the previous installments, and even though it plays different from them, it still really feels the same (like I assume ALL of Spike's DBZ titles will). But, I like Spike games, and they really feel like DBZ to me. They could feel more like DBZ too, but to me this is the closest we've been so far. If chucking out $60 every year allows me to keep playing DBZ games, I'm more than happy to do so. Despite being the HUGE DBZGT fan that I am, I understand that they are never going to be the perfect in depth fighting game a lot of fans seem to demand. We don't have a big name developer or a decent amount of time for them to do the work thanks to the publisher. So as long as Spike keeps making decent improvements and stops taking steps backward (AND STOP RESETTING THE DAMN ROSTER EVERY THIRD INSTALLMENT), I'll continue to support them.

From my impression of the demo, the only thing they did wrong with RB2 is decrease the super dashing speed. I feel like they dash (just holding forward on the analog stick) faster than they super dash (analog stick plus X for PS), but yet they have a good speed for the super dash while in Raging Soul or when super dashing and trying to use a charge attack. Oh well, they will probably buff it again in RB3. Oh...and they forgot to include Slug. (Still not letting that die.)

You have to download it from the Playstation Network.

Going by the demonstration the demo had to offer the game feels a lot like the previous release. I think I seen enough videos on youtube of galaxy mode to determine if rb1's predecessor is a worthy sequel, as far as skills go I'm a rb1 veteran, cancel master. So, if you would care to commence a battle online then oblige my challenge, otherwise retract that statement, "Sounds like someone thinks they are 'too good' for this game...skill wise." Because I know a lot more then your assumptions presume I know about this game, and you know nothing about me.

You know No more about this game than the information has been released, which ANYONE can follow up on. It isn't like you have some kind of 'inside scoop' on the game. We have only even seen parts of 2 or 3 sections of the game, you don't know what all thte full release has. Skill level has nothing to do with guessing if a game is 'below you'. You make it seem like you are pompous and superior to every person in this thread.

Asise from the developers and those few people who got the 95% complete demo, you are just like everyone else and are in the same boat, no better and no worse. Try picking up the game before you step up on your pedistal.
