What did Goku and family do after the Buu saga?

About one year or so after the Special, Goku and Chichi's farm sold enough beets so that they expanded on their business and bought up thousands of acres of land just to sow more beets.
They put Goten on the task of taking care of the farms himself, so that he could have an income and also so that he could get some training.

Soon, their business became a multi-million dollar company named "Gochi Gothan Foods and Beets Inc.". This lead to Goten handling millions of acres of land all by himself, all until he crashed and burned and became sick from overworking himself.
This, of course, startled the whole family, so they bought robots to make the work. Albeit it took them longer time, the profits were still over their expectations.

While in the hospital, the bloodwork of Goten's came back and showed signs of leukemia. This explained why Goten had gotten so tired and sick from his work.
The family got the best doctors and started chemotherapy, although it was too late, since the hard work had aggravated the disease.
Goten would forever be missed.

Soon after, Gohan performed some experiments and genetically manipulated the beets to become larger and juicier.
Chichi made some new recipes and they started to distribute their beets in the processed foods section.
Unfortunately, the beets, who hadn't passed the FDA tests, were mutagenous. This lead to a zombie outbreak that Goku had to try to stop together with Trunks and Vegeta. Gohan was the first one to perish.

To their demise, Trunks had been slacking off and was bitten by a zombie and became Zombie Trunks. So Goku and Vegeta had to kill him.
After fusing into Gogeta, they eradicated the zombies, and gathered the survivors; merely one thousand people.

Unfortunately once again, the whole Capsule Corp had been infected and had to be eradicated, and the Dragonballs didn't exist no more, since Dende choked on some water just weeks prior and died in a humiliating death unfitting a God.

So Vegeta went into space to find something to do with his life.

Goku returned home and Chichi was asleep. On the morning he couldn't wake her up. She had died in her sleep.

So Goku went into space to find Vegeta, only to find out that Vegeta had suffocated after what appeared to be a hole in his ship. Floating inside the ship was a can of half-opened Campbell's soup.

So Goku went back to Earth to repopulate the Earth, and helped Buu to make a Buu woman so that he too could repopulate the Earth.
Piccolo went to Namek to spit out some eggs and to chill with his landsmen.

And that's how the events until DBO went by.
