Season 1, 2, and 3 were only like that mind you.
P.S. What episode is that?
I read this as, "Only the first 100 episodes or so were like that."

That's only 1/3 of the series, right?

IT ARRIVED! :D

Just sent Rightstuf an email to thank them and let them know that they can cancel my new shipment that I asked for.

It sucks that I had to wait that long, but I must say it was worth it. This thing is beautiful. I know what I'll be doing all weekend. 8)

I just ordered mine on Amazon (along with the movie "House of Cards"). I put it off for long enough. Hopefully, it should arrive some time next week.

I was thinking about doing some DBZ DVD reviews on Youtube but I haven't really done that before, any suggestions?

I haven't done any myself, but it should be easy enough. Get a camera, clean up your room and start talking with the DVD sets in front of you. :P Just prepare what you're going to say in advance.

Anyhoo, last night while I was watching the first two episodes of Disc 20 on my PS2 before falling asleep, I got struck with an idea. Since my PS3 is not region-free, it cannot play the DBOXes, unfortunately. What I was thinking though is this: Is it possible to make the DVDs region-free by copying them and burning them on DVD-Rs? Does anybody know?

Making region-free DVDs couldn't be any easier. :D If your DVD ripping software doesn't do it automatically, it's usually as easy as checking a box. I personally use DVDFab for my Dragon Box ripping since some other programs seem to have problems handling Dragon Box discs.

It's a Wall-Mart exclusive.
I'm not talking about the Double-Pack.

Awesome. Looks like I'll be making personal copies once all seven are out so that I don't have to constantly be using the original discs.

When I ripped it the default language got switched to English, so if you want Japanese change the language with your media player's audio settings.

If it's a VOB (I haven't downloaded it), the best program to use is VLC.

Yeah, it's VOB. VLC or any program that plays DVDs will work. Powerupguy, if you can play DVDs on your computer, you should be able to open the clip with the same program.

When selecting english audio on the dragon boxes, is the recap the english dub recap or is it skipped over like the next episode previews?

I'm pretty sure it just goes to the Japanese audio. Like, you'll watch the dubbed episode, and then the preview's in Japanese, then back to English.

Well I know the preview is in Japanese only, but I'm asking about whether or not the recap is in English.

That doesn't happen on mine. I watch with the English dub and at the end of the episode it goes straight to the ending animation. I usually change the audio setting with my DVD remote then the next episode preview plays.

Soppa Saiyjins from Dorgou Ballru Zetto is my favorite transformation everah, especially when Trounksoru did it in front of Seru and when Bejita did it when he faced Jingonigen-hachigo. But for real, I use the FUNi pronunciation. - Soppa Saia People
