Not exactly a rumor, but when I first got into DBZ, I thought Freeza had ice powers based on his name ((The Arabic dub didn't help either since they named him "Freezer")).

I'm gonna go ahead and call Shenanigans on that one.

If there was additional Dragonball content in some video store in a major city in Japan, that content would be common knowledge amongst Dragonball fans around the world due to uploading, fansubbing, bootlegging, etc.

Sounds like there's something new to go in the Rumor Guide.

@Piccolo Daimao I didn't mean to offend him. I was just wanted to say that the Indonesian dub also uses "Freezer", but I never though Freeza had ice power. But I'm not saying he's stupid or anything...

haha That's actually pretty funny. Before I had the internet and I used to see the poster and figure ads in the back of the old issues of EGM I wondered if the "blond guys" were different characters. Although I did recognize Goku and then later learned of the super saiyan forms and it all made sense.

When I was starting out as a fan of Dragon Ball, my first experience of DB was Ultimate Battle 22, where all the Saiyans were in Super Saiyan form. So when I saw pictures of base Goku, Vegeta and co., I knew they were connected, but I didn't know how.

But the series wouldnt be uploaded online because it didnt come out as a show.It was like they were made but werent signed for public release so typical Video stores wouldnt have them because they werent officiall made.He told me they were going to but they never got aired on TV.Bootleg companies however have inside scoop on the stuff that shouldnt be sold.

There are even some bootleg companies in the U.S. that mught have a few tapes he told me.Like there is a japanese one in Arizona that might have some.But ask around bootleg anime stores in the U.S. like Pandoras Cube or even bootleg anime sites might have info.But the bootleg anime stores in Japan are most probable to have them

No, just no. Even if this were true and they were never uploaded anywhere, we'd still have heard news of the fact that they existed in the first place from some official source by now. Why would you believe some guy who has no real connection? Unless you mean it is a bootleg series that has nothing to do with Toriyama or Toei at all...like a fan-made series or something. Either way, the fact is someone would have produced hard evidence by now.

I really don't appreciate your attitude. You came to this board making outlandish claims with no real proof to back it up and you expect everyone to know what you're talking about. Posting a link written by some guy who said he knows about this "series" isn't evidence, and I have no idea why you would believe something like this without having seen it with your own eyes. (Let me guess, now you're going to tell us you've seen it but can't show us because Toei will sue you)
