I love it, it's amazing.

Tbh people shouldn't take reviews seriously, just look at what FIFA11 got. Like 9.5 out of 10 but please people. Go check the EA Forums and see how it's full of people complaining. I'll stop here. :|
Other forums(shall not be named) are also raging at these reviews. Sounds like the db fanbase actually has a mind of its own for a change.

I played the demo...and does the camera angle always dramatically shift at the end of every combo?

Does anyone else feel rushed through Galaxy mode?

I mean having to fight these super quick shot battles and how the AI never goes away from you.

And I am SO frickin over Raging Soul, it's not even funny.

I don't remember choosing a difficulty. All I know if they are in Raging Soul like all the time and they STAY in my face, I have to time to do anything or enjoy the battles.

Tutorial mode was REALLY solid, I got the hang of things in a matter of moments. Kudos on a great job laying everything out on the table. With that...

Galaxy mode can go fuck itself, it's like that 35 page busy work packet your substitute gives you that nobody really expects you to finish. Jesus fucking Christ (yes I'm sorry if I offended anyone, no other words can properly express how much I hate doing this.) it is the most boring, redundant thing. It's not even difficult, it's just long and boring. That's the ONLY way to get characters, I will NEVER touch this dumb mode again once I get everyone. I have never played a main mode I despised so much in ANY DBZ game, ever. I shudder to think I still have to go through 30 something more people, I just hope they get shorter.

Now that I got that out of my system, the tournament mode is perfect. You will not have a single issue in it, you can customize it exactly how you want things to play out. You can even change the contestants if you don't like the games random selection. I hope they don't change a thing about the tournament in any future sequels. Man, it's just brilliant.

This picture collecting thing is stupid and wastes 3 seconds of my time I could be using to try and trudge through galaxy mode, do these assholes know we have google images? Oh wow, Piccolo launching a KI attack! Golly jeepers! I can't even imagine casual fans giving a shit about some random screen caps off the show. You can keep your stupid "DARGONBALL ART ADMIRER DURF HURF" trophy. (Because I'm fully aware that is the only reason this is in here, just like your stupid clown shoes story mode you're just wasting my time giving me dumb shit to slowly and monotonously work through.)

The music selection is absolutely great. I haven't enjoyed a score this much in a really long time. Major kudos to them for making some cool music.

Great dub voice track, good times with good voice acting. Ayres makes me smile any time I'm up against Freeza.

Online battles lagged like hell, could have been just me though.

I didn't check out that other main battle mode, Galaxy Mode was too busy making me want to kill small children and murder puppies. I'll give it a look tomorrow.

Edit:
Oh and the graphics were very nice, shiny and puuuurty. Probably the best part of this game in fact.

...Sort of.

The main mode, "Galaxy Mode", plays out quite similarly to the Shin Budokai system. Basically, a road of fights that are appropriate (or not so much) for the character that you choose. Each battle has specific conditions for winning, such as beating your opponent in under 120 seconds, beat your opponent before the Raging Soul gauge runs out... etc. This method is the main way of unlocking characters.

Finishing Vegeta's gets your Tarble... finishing Butta's gets you Neiz... finishing Trunks gets you Trunks (Sword)... etc.

Now, as far as my opinion of this mode goes, I actually enjoy it. It's a nice alternative to the same old Story Mode that we play year-after-year. The pairings make sense for the most part, until you get past that character's canon, and then it becomes wacky.

I agree about the dub voices. They are much much, much better than previous entries. Infinitely so. I can't stress this point enough. Aside from recasts, characters such as Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Nail and Yamcha, have had their voice samples re-recorded. For Vegeta and Yamcha specifically, they sound much more human, as if they're actually feeling the emotions their lines and facial expressions convey. Yamcha seems less "dude-ish", and Vegeta and Piccolo seem to have completely abandoned their imitation of the Ocean Dub actors, thereby leaving behind the cringe and eye-roll worthy forced growls Sabat uses for these two characters.

As Turtle Marked Stone said, Ayers as Freeza is excellent. I have mixed feelings about his 2nd/3rd form voices, but his calm, aristocratic personality shines through in his first and final forms. I recall watching Kai on Nicktoons recently and being blown away by the amazingly-written dialogue; it's nice to see this shine through in subsequent video games.

This is my issue though, why does Tenshinhan earn you Tulluce, why does Yamcha earn you Kid Boo? Why is Goku slowly dying fighting the entire Ginyu force? Why is Yamcha fighting Mecha Freeza and Cooler? What does Kid Gohan fighting Goten have to do with anything? He doesn't even have a Nappa battle. It's just like they tossed a bunch of battles and conditions in a hat and said "whelp whatever we draw is going to be in the game!" It just seems tossed together and completely insignificant. Hell even the story battles have about 2 lines of dialogue only. (That they never manage to get out before I kill them because this game seems to be set on easy mode even with the very hard battles.) I mean even if you aren't a fan of that stuff it just shows lack of effort. I don't like the old cut scene filled Story Modes either but can we get a little effort put into whatever they're replacing it with?

On that note, how do I access the battles that have another character up on the oval thing on the top of the screen?

How the hell is RB2 not a fighting game? You pick a character. Your opponent picks a character. Those characters fight. It's a fighting game.

Finally someone that points out the obvious.
Galaxy Mode is just about the worst EVER! It's the most annoying game mode you could think of at least in my view. It's overly redundant and the screens from the show are absolutely useless as well.
They should just have kept the actual story mode and perfected it instead of desperately inventing something new to please the never ending fans' bawling how boring and bland the story mode always was. Seriously and then they throw something like the Galaxy Mode at us? Have I interpreted this correctly?
I am like wtf?! Even the boring story mode was way ahead of this.
They should really think of improving the good story mode and throw in some neat QTEs or cutscenes.

Other than that I really enjoy playing the game.

I'm LOVING Galaxy mode so far, already unlocked everyone.

Has anyone tried out the Battle zone? Whats that all about?

How about online battles? I feel like the level of spammings is going to be far worse than Burst Limit. Good thing you get a trophy for 5 losses.

Ok, so I just beat SSj3 Vegeta and Broly's "Galaxy" mode and I still got screen shots of them that look like they're from the anime. Could this mean there will be another Broly movie or a possible DBRB3 special? SSj3 Vegeta's (picture? description? what?) was "True Final Flash" and SSj3 Broly's was deadliest "something".

Oh, Daizex. How I love you and your shenanigans.

"Well, here's a NEW main mode!"
"This is stupid! I want a regular story mode back!"
...one could even say I'm complaining about the complaining. :o
