Instead of Goku getting the heart virus, she can't fight because she is pregnant with Goten.

But do you think she wouldn't fight, while pregnant? or only stop, when receiving a powerful blow to the stomach?

I doubt she would fight while there is a "bun in the oven". It's just too risky.

Male Goku fought even though he had a heart disease, and since there shouldn't be any difference in personality between male and female Goku, she would likely do it until it got to risky.

It does if Gohan and Goten are going to exist. Unless Gokuu marries someone else, or they get a sperm donor or something (and Gokuu would have to be the recipient in order for them to be half-Saiyan). Then again, pregnant Gokuu at all is also kind of crazy, because she'd somehow have to calm down for 9 months.

I hear where you're coming from. It's just that if Goku is a mother, she is most likely going to have these "maternal instincts" if you will. So in that respect, I think she would act more like Chichi when it comes to her children. If she does get hit so much as once in the stomach, she's fucked.

I'm well aware* of that. But it's amusing filler that fits well with his character. And it's still canon that he hates sitting around in hospitals for anything. I think s/he would much rather just get knocked up naturally.
