You might think I'm crazy but, I think the sparks are there to make it feel like more of a magical death and lighten the blow that the person suffered. Almost like, poof! Magic! Now he's in other world, kids!

The narrator still sounded the same to me, not like Sean Schemmel doing an imitation like some of the others.

Edits in today's episodes were nothing really surprising. In the old dub, Gohan's nudity after untransforming from Oozaru was covered by ripped fabric from Vegeta's clothing (which was kind of clever). Now, he's suddenly wearing a big ol' pair of tighty whities, which he obviously wasn't wearing as an Oozaru....though doing that would have been more consistent and also be fitting of the hilarious edits we've come to expect from this version.

"Doesn't matter. Put some clothes on that monkey!"

There may have been a dialogue change (besides all the "Spirit Blasts"). When Vegeta was about to start beating the shit out of Gohan, he said something about, "I've heard Saiyan brats are tough." Is memory deceiving me, or didn't he originally say "half-breed Saiyans"? Did they cut out the part about half-breeds, or am I just remembering it wrong?

4kids edited out the scene where Vegeta was kicking Goku on the ground and replaced it with a shot of Gohan. And also the part where Ape Gohan punches Vegeta in the head is editied out with a flash shot.

I love watching the show on Toonzai just to see how much they can edit an already edited dub~

IIRC, a woman in the 4-Kids interview even made fun of that, saying it's a redub of a redub.
