I $&$*$^%*$ LOATHE Raging Soul more than any other feature in a DBZ game EVER, that along with the block button doesn't do a f*ck*ng thing makes me wonder how this game was even tested!!

There has to be rewards, and the reward I've always been looking for in each and every game was "after that sequence, you get the right to watch a nice cutscene and take a few step further into the story".
May I suggest getting into books or movies instead? That way you get to follow the story without having to play through these tedious gameplay sessions every now and then.

This game is just getting brutalized by gaming sites everywhere. Reasons being the bad camera, a terrible storymode, and redundant gameplay.

I'll wait 'til this thing gets real cheap. No way in hell I'm spending 60 bones on nothing more than a slight upgrade, if you can even call it that...

Still waiting for that Burst Limit 2...

Seriously does anybody have word on the pre order limited edition's alternate colors? A code? Video of it being used? Are the colors alts or are they only accessed through a DLC character? Something?

No, those lack interactivity. You LIVE the story in games, a story that is longer than any film. You don't get bored, you're part of it.
Games are fine the way they usually are, the developers often find the right balance between game time and story time that justifies why you play the next session. But sometimes, they are just out of balance: this game is the perfect example of "not enough story" where they could have simply put the "Versus mode" while they're at it, and Metal Gear Solid 4 is the perfect example of too much story, where you don't dare to do anything but skip the cutscenes cause there's too many, too long, and you're not here to watch 10 hours of movie and yawn 100 times in half an hour.

But the story is important in games since it creates the ambiance, which directly impacts the pleasure you have playing. And just fighting anybody with anybody with no story just doesn't feel like Dragon Ball. I can't feel Dragon Ball without a story. And I know I should feel terribly bad about wanting games that have a solo section to have a minimal amount of storyline to go with it, but unfortunately, that's the way it is, the way it has always been. So I hope a new story mode will be back that will prevent us from just feeling like in a succession of "VS Mode against the AI" fights, and make us discover or rediscover scenarios.

Does anyone know if Chris Patton returned to voice Turles? If not, who voiced him? I recently saw a YouTube video with Turles fighting and he sounded different.

Many people on this game sound completely different, why didn't they choose to recycle old voice bytes?

I've been playing this game all day and I fucking love it!!! I'm actually enjoying Galaxy Mode! Oh gosh this game is so good.

Questions for people here who play it (..):

What's the difference from enhanced character and a regular? After I beat the first Battle zone against Vegeta it said I obtained enhanced Tien but there's no real difference when I play as Tien.

Why are there always two or one battles I can't 'do' in Galaxy Mode in each character's story? It just won't let me.

I am glad they are finally recording new audio too bad it's when some of my favorite voices like No. 18 are not the same. Also they have yet to get mirai no Gohan's voice right and he once again just sounds like older Gohan instead of the VA he had in the special. I guess they will never fix that. Maybe one day they will make it like street fighter where you can set individual voices to the language you like best, I would like that since I prefer some English over the Japanese but at the same time I like one persons voice in Japanese instead I want the option.

I know what you mean, but that makes sense in Street Fighter' mythology. It wouldn't make any sense whatsoever Goku talking English and then Gohan speaking Japanese, for example.
How many Scouters has Vegeta broken already?

Try renting it to see if you like it.

I haven't played it, but I think I can answer. Maybe you've the unlocked Tien in the enhanced character slot.

Oh dear me. You're right, I just checked it. I always thought that slot was for downloadable characters only.

That's understandable. I, too agree that RB2 is more for hardcore fans.

The main problem with Raging Blast 2, is that it assumes anyone who decides to play it, is a die hard Dragon Ball fan, or a person who's played all of the games in the Budokai, and Tenkaichi series.

I don't care that there is not a story mode, because it's been told enough times, and I already know what happens in the story. But for some newcomer, they should stay away from this title.

Has anyone figured out a button for block?

I'm playing Janemba vs Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, and Piccolo and I wanna throw the PS3 against the $%^&*( wall because no matter what I do, the block button never works and this bullsh*t about the AI being able to slowly drift away from you while you cant do the same is starting to piss me off.

I seriously wouldn't have minded another few weeks of waiting for them to work out everything in this game!

The block button works it just works differently. Unlike before when it would end your attack animation to block now it waits for your attacking to end and then it blocks.

How about....f*ck that! I want my block button to do exactly what the name says, BLOCK.....not wait around for the other person to decide to stop attacking.

IGN rated it 5.5 just because the guy said the locked characters are bad idea and they didn't even mension about the new "Plan To Destroy The Saiya-jin" villian guy into account to there reviews. I really don't mind if game websites rating it so low.

Well to be fair IGN did mention the horrid controls, which is one of the biggest problems of the Sparking series. So that is a pretty big negative of the game.

But I do agree they should have at least mentioned the special. Also I don't think having to unlock things is a valid flaw of the game. It's not like other fighting games make you unlock stuff.

Yeah, I asked him (and posted it a few pages back, though it's understandable if you missed it). 'Tis indeed him. I also was a bonehead and asked if he was voicing the bonus video - even though I knew full well that it wouldn't be dubbed into English (it just escaped me at the moment). For the record he said he wasn't in "Plan".
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!
