I hope the battle is really a Skinny Gotenks vs Fat Gotenks fight. Just a SSj3 Gotenks vs. SSj3 Gotenks would be confusing, and boring.

I don`t see how a battle between skinny and fat Gotenks would be more interesting. They probably would just faint from the effort of entering the ring or something like that. In the manga Fat Gotenks wasn`t able to take a few steps without having to stop to gasp for air, and skinny Gotenks didn`t seem to be able to stand on his legs for very long. I agree that it would be funny, but it shouldn`t last very long at all. There wouldn`t even be a fight.

Keep in mind that the manga seemed to imply that the failed Gotenks were much, much weaker than Goten and Trunks (since the fat one took a few steps before having to stop and gasp for air and the skinny one seemed to be one moment away of collapsing). It would be impossible for them to be SSJ3.

even if they are identical in power level, I think U18 Gotenks trained slightly more as U16 Gotenks wouldnt feel the need to with two godly untouchable heroes around, meaning U18 would be slightly more experienced and have a greater desire to win. Unfortunately, whoever wins is destined to fight Zen Buu/Namek/Vegetto/Bra.

That's assuming it even happens in battle. It was just one of many, many ideas. It's just that either an attack from an opponent (or even a sneaky one from somebody not currently fighting) or a really huge power up would be an easy way to justify it happening. Maybe the pervert Kakarot instead of Buu would do it during one of Bra's fights. Then Prince Vegeta could slap him upside the head not quite understanding why he's annoyed...but for some reason feels like he should be.

I was more talking about Universe 13. Prince Vegeta wouldn't know it was his daughter. He'd smack Kakarot (who from what we know would be most likely to enjoy the sight) because he had some kind of inkling that something was wrong even though he can't quite figure it out.
