"This might be a lesson well learned."
Ooooh. I don't like where this is going. Actually scratch that, I do like where this going! I can only wonder what this "lesson" will be.

Re: DeadlyChestnut's "Universe F" fan comic
I am liking how the whole Freeza x King Vegeta dynamic is portrayed. While different, it is kind of believable if the two have a gruding respect for each other (assuming they are roughly equal in fighting power). Still I doubt this Vegeta would like being told to "sit over there" by Freeza anymore than the one we are used to.
Judging by his expression in panel five of the last page he is at least a little miffed. Looking forward to Cooler's upcoming appearance . . . and on that note what does anyone else think of DeadlyChestnut's idea of giving Cooler armor like his minions?

This Freeza is so much more threatening. I freaking love it.

Chapter 2 - Page 5:

Ah, good old sibling rivalry.
Also, DeadlyChestnut says that Neiz is has an iPad. You be the judge of that...

Okay I'm just going to say it, this my new favorite fancomic. I don't care anymore if the story goes nowhere. As long as it has dramatic tension like this I'm happy.

I feel the exact same way.
On a more personal note, I'm a beginner artist, and I struggle quite a bit with drawing convincing backgrounds. I feel looking at DC’s art has helped me a little.

Second favourite, after AF, for me. But I like where this comic is going, so that could change.Scarz wrote:Okay I'm just going to say it, this my new favorite fancomic. I don't care anymore if the story goes nowhere. As long as it has dramatic tension like this I'm happy.

This beats Multiverse for me. Really awesome comic, but I can't wait till Goku shows up, since it says he didn't lose his memory. That's probably what holds the most appeal for me...

Then you will be mighty disappointed since I remember DeadlyChestnut said Goku/Kakarotto would not be in this story.Great Saiyaman I wrote:This beats Multiverse for me. This story is not just a "what if" of the original story, as in "how would the story turn out if this had happened this way?". Its a story that has been totally reinvented using dragon ball characters, as in "what if I put this dragon ball character in this situation with this power level and that one was in that situation with this power level and had kids and that one had grandchildren, etc...".
I like it very much but we shouldn`t expect it to follow anything specific about the original story.

Good. It'll be nice to move some attention away from Goku and centre on other characters.Maphisto86 wrote:Then you will be mighty disappointed since I remember DeadlyChestnut said Goku/Kakarotto would not be in this story.Great Saiyaman I wrote:This beats Multiverse for me. Re: DeadlyChestnut's "Universe F" fan comic
Kakarotto was a low class Saiya-jin, and probably ended up doing shitty jobs if he was alive and back at planet Vegeta. that's why it makes sense for Deadlychestnut to not portray him. He is just a small ant in the chain of events in the story.

Re: DeadlyChestnut's "Universe F" fan comic
Well in the beginning, it made a point of saying that the hero did not hit his head, so I interpreted that as Goku being a main character without memory loss. I now realize it just means Raditz wouldn't have gone to earth, Vegeta wouldn't get the Dragon Balls, etc. Thanks for clearing that up, guys.

Wow. As soon as I spotted that bottom-left panel, "His underarms are PINK, PINK, PINK!" popped into my head.
Having that said, it's another good page. xD

Usually goes by "Kevtrev" elsewhere online.

I continue to love the dialog.

This is awesome. It's like Arnold Schwarzenegger vs. Sylvester Stallone. It's like Mickey Mouse vs. Bugs Bunny. It's that awesome.
You can feel the tension between Freeza and Coola.

I'm with you, this comic better end in full blown out war between Freeza and Coola. That would be to cool for words.Great Saiyaman I wrote:If this doesn't end in a war, then I'll... I don't know, do something. This is gonna be awesome...
