Okay, from what I can make out (I can’t read Japanese yet – I just buy doujinshi for the art), it’s an original romance story of Vegeta and a female human (pretty sure she’s a human- she doesn’t have a tail anyway) the author has made up. It also features some original Saiyan characters. It bounces between past and present. There is some suggestive imagery, but nothing overly explicit. The art is quite lovely.
It’s … not quite what I was expecting when I bought it, the cover is fairy misleading I must say. I thought it would have an action theme rather than romance.
Overal, it’s a fairly decent doujin - if you can find it cheap it may be worth picking up. I got it from here, they might restock it.
And to think I was going to buy this doujin. Okay so it doesn't sound terrible but I'm not really interested in original characters. But I did have my eye on "Female Trouble". (Now I know why it's gone. Hopefully they'll restock.) So tell me is Lunch even in it? I remember seeing a scan of it a long time ago and Lunch was no where to be found.

It's ridiculous.

Happy birthday, by the way.

Ah, yes. Ebay sellers have a tendency of doing that...but I suppose that's a different topic. I only have one DB doujinshi myself, I'll post up a picture when I can locate the darn thing.

A few more hours left for me, but thank you! I really appreciate that. :)

Sadly, Lunch is only on the last page.
That doujin is concentrated mainly on Seripa and Toma. It's still a very good doujin, has a few gag stories with ChiChi, Piccolo, Vegeta and Freeza & co in it as well as the main story.

No problem, I actually just noticed it on the birthday bar thing, haha.

It's the "OVA" VHS tape from Japan.

Why would anyone want that old version, when they can get a better version and an awesome video game for less than half the price?

It never got a US release, it's a collectors item by now, it's got that sweet sweet stupid soundtrack and it's the original.

How I love the soundtrack for Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans, Expecailly when Hatchiyack first appears, That castlevania like bgm is so cool! :P They so fucked up that scene in Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans.... I feel like killing the people who made the new version. :x

I've still yet to see the remake but I loved the soundtrack to the original also, favourites being the encounter with Freeza, Coola, Tullece and Slugg and arrival of Hatchiyack.

I'm unsure about this but wasn't there nearly or over 2 hours worth of footage on the Playdia disc? If there was, it's too bad they didn't include it on the OVA tape.

I haven't been here for awhile now..

Anyways!
Just bought an Andriod Saga DVD (episodes 118-120, original Funi. Dub episode list) for just around $4.00...Found it in the grocerry store, as my mom and I replenished our food supply. I must say...It's fun watching English-subbed DBZ...Hehe, Vegeta saying ''Jackasses''.

Question, though: Why is the English subbed, somewhat different from the actual English dubbed?

Because FUNi's old dub script was a crap.

The real reason is that the English subbed version was based off the actual Japanese dialogue, and the English dubbed version, for the most part, wasn't. A lot of changes were made in regards to the English dub script at that time.

Well, it is a collectors’ item. Many people – myself included – like to collect rare items; for the value or just plain wanting it.
The OST on that video was pretty fantastic.
I’d buy this, if it was slightly cheaper, like $100-130. Oh well ~

Ooooooh, Miracle Lunch Box- I've wanted that book for years but have never been able to find it in my price range.

I was going to ask the same question as Scarz about Female Trouble so thanks for clarifying that too. As I understand, Yahoo Japan only ships to Japan and you need a proxy to get items out of there? There's a number of doujins I've been wanting but just can't find on ebay >_> Like Myth of Dragon and some of the Taku Fusamichi books I'm still missing.

There’s a copy of Miracle Lunch Box here, pretty cheap.

If by proxy you mean a shopping service, then yes.
Here are some I use/have used in the past –but there are TONS of shopping services, with varying prices so be sure to look around on Google:

Is that like a hentai doujinshi or something?

There's a few mild suggestive scenes, but nothing explicit. It's a romance manga, not hentai.

EDIT: There's also a Myth Of Dragon in stock, Velasa.

A couple of recent purchases, mostly from MCM Expo in October.

Image
Golden Warrior Artbook <3 It's awesome
Image
One of the World Of specials. Very random find and only £14! Still has all it's original pull outs etc.
Image
HSCF Second Form Freeza, this just looks badass!
Image
Hybrid Goku. Quite happy with it, wouldn't mind grabbing a matching Vegeta.
Image
This gashapon looked amazing and it features one of my favourite fights from the entire series

I've had my eye on a couple of those hybrid action figures for awhile, so I must ask - do they have good articulation?

The articulation's great and quite varied - some of the joints take a little getting used to. They moved in ways I didn't expect them to and I can't help but feel like I'm about to snap the thing in two when I do change it's pose because it just feels fragile. They're best for occasional posing and leaving displayed on the side, most of us here are too old to 'play' with them, but I get the feeling that if you did you'd probably break it.

Hmm ... I see ... The fragility thing is a bit "eh" but I just buy figures to display, so it should be okay. I'm used to fairly fragile figures (hello Figma, you temperamental pieces of plastic *grumblegrumble*).
Thanks for answering.

No worries. If you're just displaying them you'll be fine. They even come with a handy stand so you don't have the issue of "This looks amazing but I don't think it'll stand like this..."

I'm planning on picking up a Hybrid Vegeta, and even though I'm not a big fan of GT, their SS4 versions just because they look amazing in this line.
