Freeza, Coola and King Cold

It seems that during Freeza's appearance in the series, it was implied that he was a dictator who ran the, as we know it now, "Planet Trade Organization".

How does this fit into Coola's story? He seems to be directly rivaled to his brother, yet despite being way stronger than Freeza, he appears to at the very most, be Freeza's equal during his reign.

Even if you chalk it up to non-canon silliness, what about King Cold? It seems like he's also more powerful than Freeza. So what's he the King of? Their planet? The PTO?


If anything, Freeza, being the weakest, should be the lowest on the food-chain, yet he seems to be considered the undisputed Lord.

Freeza states it. Not to mention Cold defers to him the entire time. Cold was a plan B for Freeza. He believed the two of them would be enough to handle Goku, but considers his own powers as being enough instead.

Freeza is more powerful than King Cold. Apparently, the Japanese anime had some lines of dialogue implying that Cold was more powerful (can anyone confirm? I've never actually seen quotes), but these lines aren't present in the Japanese text in the manga. Tenshinhan, I believe, says that he feels Freeza, along with "...another ridiculously large ki," but that doesn't imply that Cold is the stronger of the two. Also, Freeza calls himself "the strongest in the universe," right in front of his father. Finally, Cold's Daizenshuu 7 entry claims that Freeza is his superior in strength. That's enough evidence for me!

So Nazi Cola, was not right.
And besides, even if Ten did say that, then we would know Freeza is suppressed anyways, as we hear Gohan state, that he can get much stronger than that.

^ Yes, he was. He wonders who is the one beside Freeza with the ki so much larger than his. Since this is filler it doesn't hold a enough merit. However as we learn later Freeza is suppressed thus Cold is only displaying more power than Freeza is at the moment.

As for Coola I see him carrying out the same responsibilities as Freeza. As we know Cold is the head-leader of their "little" business. Basically their sons work for him. I see Freeza taking the South and North Galaxy while Coola take the West and East Galaxy. However when Freeza has an entire army of weaklings I like to believe Coola only works with the Armored Squadron.

And those numbered planets aren't numbered to Freeza and Coola. What I mean is Freeza doesn't have x planets and Coola has n planets. All those planets belong to their "company", or by other words, to Cold.

Frieza may say he's the strongest in the universe but he still says that after Goku went SSJ and he lost. So that statement isn't really worth all that much. In the manga when Mecha Frieza is coming to Earth Tien senses Frieza and says there's an even stronger power level with him. This is before Future Trunks was there or Goku so it must be King Cold. Now even though Mecha Frieza wasn't at 100% Tien still sensed that King Cold was stronger than Frieza in the manga. So take that for what it's worth.

As for Frieza, Cooler and King Cold's role in the Planet Trade I think that Frieza was the front man. Like he had the most involvement and you could say had the biggest name. King Cold seemed to be in charge or on top of Frieza but played more of a layed back role. Cooler seemed to work not as closely with the rest of his family but was still in charge of a large number of planets. At least that's how I always seen things. :/

Freeza can't sense Ki. He had no way of telling Goku was stronger than himself without getting his ass kicked first.

I don't know what version of the manga you have, but in the Viz one Tenshinhan only says "there's another one with [Freeza]", nothing about a stronger one. Maybe you're reading a fanslation.

Yeah your right I have the Kanzenban and it just says another huge power. The Viz said another even greater Ki. :/
