Not really. Like I said previously on this thread, fusion screw-ups are pretty weak, like the manga showed us. Just taking a few steps makes them gasp for hair or the simple act of standing up makes them tremble like they are about to faint and/or fall down.

That being the case, fusion screw ups would probably just faint on the way to the ring. That scenario or another similar to it is much better suited for a two or three page mini comic instead of the main manga.

This way, we get to have a entertaining and funny fight between the two identical Gotenks (I hope) which is what this fan manga is all about.

Well Veku was pretty fun for a fusion screw up, but since it can't possibly fit in anywhere using him as an example isn't the best idea.
TBH I don't even think a fusion screw up would have the ki necessary to fly and even if they could, they would probably as you say, faint on their way up there.
I still wonder what they are going to do about this match, as somebody else has said perhaps they will use SSJ 3 as a last ditch effort because of it reducing the fusion time.

Having it just be two screw-ups honestly would be a huge disappointment. People have always wanted to see Adult Gotenks and simply having fat Gotenks vs. skinny old Gotenks is kinda just dicking around.

Well, both Gotenks' punched with the right hand, so that wouldn't make sense. If they mirrored the other panel, it would look like he punched with the left hand.

Not that they couldn't have changed the last panel to show one of the Gotenks' punching with his left hand, but I think it makes more sense to show both of them punching with the right hand, as both Gotenks' are basically mirroring each other in this match.

I can see where you're coming from though. It is pretty lazy to just copy the same panel over again. In this instance though, I'll let it slide.

The whole point is to show how equal they are.

And mirroring the image would be just as "lazy". I mean, all it takes is a push at a button at photoshop or any similar program to mirror an image, so its hardly any added effort (and like you said, Gotenks punching with the left arm wouldn`t make sense since they both used the right).

Yep, that is the whole basis of DBM. If they would act differently why not have 20 universes with Broly or "our" universe?

That is the point, you know. If two beings are pretty much identical, they should behave and think pretty much identically.

I don´t think they allow draws, even though the rules don`t mention what happens in case of a draw.

Unless they are both disqualified, I think there has to be a winner. In the 21st Budokai for example, there were specific rules to determine the winner in case of a draw, so its possible they might do the same here. We`ll have to wait and see.

But they're not identical. One grew up with Goku and Vegeta as his dads. The other grew up with Vegetto. There's a heckuva lot of stuff that would change. Bra is a completely different sister. Vegetto goes all over the galaxy and has probably brought Trunks along, experiencing different things. And having one dad instead of two means that Goten and Trunks share the same father experience rather than two, and two moms also have to share him, which lead to happy/stressed/angry/etc. experiences. They may be similar but not identical.
