Specific Forum Rules
Hey, there:
With Daizenshuu EX being so well-known for its "Music Database," and with our loyal visitors being so varied in nationality and their fandom, it only makes sense to split off a separate forum specifically dedicated to the music of the show.
There are a few rules we'd like to stick with, specifically aimed at this particular form ("Music"). These rules are subject to change, addition, and/or deletion at any time, and we will ask that you follow them (in addition to the regular rules) to the best of your ability. Thank you!
*** "Music" Forum Rules: ***
(1) This is not a forum or website dedicated to FUNimation's English dub. While we know a little bit about its music, it is *not* a primary interest, and you're probably not going to find what you're looking for. This includes any and all compositions by Bruce Faulconer, Mark Menza, etc.
(2) Review threads (noted with the "REVIEW:" in their title) are to be created by staff ONLY. This is so we can arrange them and populate them in a consistent fashion (cover scan, track listing, information, etc.). You're more than welcome to request a reviews for a CD over in the "CD Review Request" thread. From time to time we will take these requests and begin new review threads. You are welcome to start any other types of discussion threads you wish.
(3) While the sharing of music is not "prohibited," let's not be complete idiots about it. An MP3 here or there isn't going to kill anyone, but let's NOT share music from the latest CD releases (they're cheap and in print... buy them), and let's NOT share a gigantic amount of music. We're very much all about legally purchasing what we love so much.
(4) You are more than free to discuss a particular CD in its review thread; respond all you want. You can even type your own review in there.
(5) [more to come...]

I got here through the update on the newest CD. I was all "I don't remember this section of the forums..."

Quick question (which is stupid since I SAW you update last night from the couch): will you be adding the new CDs you review to the site's Music Database? I honestly have no clue when it was late update (and for all I know, maybe it is up-to-date). ^^;;
Edit: Nevermind, I answered my own question

As those have just recently been released on CD... and a cheap CD single, at that... I'd have a huge problem with people trading MP3s of such music.Demi wrote:Just to clear this up for me, am i not aloud to request any MP3s? Specifically the full length vocal Budokai 2/3 openings.
