Hey, p123. I've been watching you post lately, and agree with most of your views on power growth and what-not. I'm a veteran of Power Level-related discussions myself (I was a beast at it back on MFG), and I know how to keep track of these sort of things.

That said, you have nothing to worry about regarding GTR's power-scaling. I've been planning this story for a LOOOONG time and, even though things tend to fluctuate here and there, I have a solid grasp on that side of the story. I can't reveal too much about it without including major spoilers, but suffice to say the power comparisons and match-ups will make sense when they happen.

As well as the various other plot-related things you brought up. Which is to say, if anyone's going to give Goku even the slightest challenge out in space, you can bet that not only will it be rare, but there's going to be a darn good reason for it.

You know what, I knew that I was doing something wrong. I seen that this was a fanfic, and was going to read through, but I figured I would just post my opinions if GT was actually revised how I would do it, as in Gt redone, moreso than the fanfic GT Revised. My bad, I knew it when I typed it too, but I thought this was more a suggestion place perhaps to help with the fanfic? But seeing how it's probably already a couple of chapters deep, my input would look more as a negative thing , as in trying to say I don't agree. Which is never what I intended. I didn't even read it yet, but am looking forward to it.

Yea, I just went on MFG and posted my numbers a little while ago as well, this guy JackJack from Neoseeker kept pushing me to go there to have debates with Kurori over there who JackJack hails as his god lol.

Hey, don't worry about it. Suggestions are just another form of feedback, which is good to get in any case. A few of the things you brought up are actually already part of the plans (I won't say which, though). I look forward to hearing what you think once you've read the story so far.

Well, I'm the one who started the Power Levels thread a while ago, and I posted my current Raditz-to-Boo series levels when I did (along with notes explaining them; it was pretty extensive). So you can scroll through and read them there, along with my mostly-serious movies list. I'll probably never make a non-parody GT list for obvious reasons. I have a PL list for GTR to serve as self-reference, but I obviously can't post it in its entirety because it'd spoil the story. What I have been posting in this thread are character bios, and each of them so far has had one little "Battle Power" line with an approximate number, but even those are kinda subject to change.

Don't worry, I'm well aware of and sympathize with the complaints about GT's Pan. She served her role in the story well enough, but there was so much wasted potential compared to how she was "set up" at the end of Z. Which is one of the reasons why GTR takes place a little later (9 years instead of 5) and thus I've made my version of Pan a little older (13 instead of 9). So that as a young teenager, she can be a little more deep and likable as a character, and fulfill some of that potential Toriyama hinted at in the manga, instead of being just a younger, failed attempt at a "cuteness factor" like in GT. There'll be big things coming for Pan, so hang tight.

Two different sources give her two different birth years. The Daizenshuu and the GT Perfect Files, I believe. Whichever it is, there's no in-story indication, so it's a matter of which supplementary guidebook you want to believe.

You know, I've been thinking about it more, what the heck was Pilaf doing after the first episode? We see him after around 30 years, tries to get the Dragon Balls again, then dissapears again. Does he get discouraged and give up? Or does he try to find a time when the Z-senshi aren't using them to bring people back to life? It's weird to think about.

Man I have read the most recent chapter last week and still can't think of anything constructive to say other than fanboy giberish. All well . . . so far I cannot see anything bad that needs constructive criticism or at least nothing I have not pointed out before. Again I gotta say that not only is the story itself is great but I really do appreciate and love the supplementary material you produce Kaboom. You go out of your way to draw stuff that really should be compiled in a fanfic daizenshuu if it ever existed and I cannot say enough how much it enhances the story. Not that I cannot imagine in my minds eye based on your detailed descriptions but it does make it clearer and more fun.

Actually on that note, I hope Marron is made into a more fully developed character. She is the "token cute kid" in DBZ's Buu Saga and barely shows up at the end of the series. In GT she is usually the typical "damsel in distress" and does not get much screentime. While I think it suits Marron to have a streak of innocence to her, I hope you make her into a more likeable and three dimensional character then she originally was. I feel that this fanfic does some of the more maligned or ignored characters in Dragonball justice even if they still play a small role.

Personally, though not to toot my own horn... I think her short role in this chapter alone is already enough to establish her as a better character than in GT. But that's really not saying much, since she barely even existed in GT.

Expanding upon otherwise-minor characters is one of my biggest goals with the fanfic. Though that's a bit more challenging if they're not fighters, and thus won't participate in the "important" parts of the story. Good thing I like a challenge.

Well if the last chapter is any indication, fleshing out characters in not fighting roles should be natural. There was pretty much no fighting in the most recent chapter and in large parts of this story and yet you still make it pretty interesting. Maybe if you need "filler" for an arc of GT Revised you could have Goku read the local phone book.
