Well, yeah, thats why I am pleading to his sense of decentcy.Jerseymilk wrote:Well you can't stop him Lost. He's free to do what he wants. It's not like we can order him not to. We can just give our opinions, advice, and forewarnings.
Maybe my last post does sound a bit preachy, so I'll say this: If you go through with this, I suggest that you give it a name you come up with yourself. Calling it "AF" will definitely cause a lot of discord, so despite my own feelings on the matter, if you personalize it, that might keep things cleaner for the community.

Check out the AF trailer I made, I wonder if this'll end up creating a whole new dabocle

You know it will. People are dumb, and easily convinced of things; and making clips, pictures, and what-have-you, that bear the letters "AF", or any other acronym people have thought of over the years creates controvercy. It's an unavoidable truth.Conan wrote:Check out the AF trailer I made, I wonder if this'll end up creating a whole new dabocle
It can, it will, and it does.
Seriously how long does it take you to come up with these names? Next Wave? Come on, do better than that.Keoro wrote:I had abandoned the idea of calling it AF since my second post in here. Now all I need is a new name... NW (Next Wave)?
And everyone, he can do it if he wants to, what harm will it do anyway? Anyone that believes AF is real in the first place haven't had the bother of finding out the truth themselves.
AF isn't, as you describe, a fire that doesn't need adding to, people need to have some damn common sense, and look at a picture titled 'Gotenks SSJ6' and realise it's a badly edited version of an existing official picture of SSJ3. The only convincing picture might have been that SSJ4 Gohan with the glasses, and maybe that SSJ5 Goku to any early fans, but as soon as they find out they are fake(which I did pretty fast, 2 minutes after I saw it) no other pictures are that convincing.
End of, let people work out and think what they want to. The real fans know AF should stand for 'Actual Farce'. Heh heh.

You give people too much credit, Bejiita. Sure they should have common sense, but there is a HUGE amount of people who still believe in it, and will fight everyone else just to prove their point. I've personally met many people who believe.Bejiita wrote:And everyone, he can do it if he wants to, what harm will it do anyway? As well, it is a fire that more of this crap fuels. More people believe every day, and thats bad. People are gullible, and easily convinced of it's existance, and a lot of them hate to be proven wrong, so they fight the point.
You yourself may have discovered its false nature quickly, but some fans just don't want to believe that they could be wrong. Hell, my two best friends were completely convinced of AF's existance till recently, through my intervention (and Daizenshuu EX) they've learned otherwise; but it was a difficult knowledge for them to learn, as they'd believed of it's existance for damn near 6 years.

People just need to except the fact that the Dragonball Trilogy is just what it is; a three series trilogy that ended in Dragonball GT episode 64, there never was, is, and will never be a DBAF or other suceeding series. Hell, no fan I know wants a new series, the last 8 minutes in GT episode 64 put a perfect cap off to the trilogy that even the last Z episode and GT special had lacked. The ONLY possible continuations would be 1) the possible Live-action movie by Fox, 2) a possible OVA spin off for Neko Majin, and/or 3) a 20th anniversary movie considering the 10th anniversary had gotten something. The Only reason I made my AF trailer was to see if anyone would say: "I knew it, AF is REAL", then I could shove my middle finger in their faces saying it's my personal gag to those psycho retarded goofs who believe with all their might it's real.

Nice. It almost makes me wish AF really existed. But I doubt this will create confusion.Conan the SSJ wrote:Check out the AF trailer I made, I wonder if this'll end up creating a whole new dabocle![]()

As far as "AF" is concerned, the only picture that made me doubt (and that was a few years ago) was the Super Saiyajin Raditz picture, the quality of that picture was quite good, it almost looked like a screenshot.
The résistance dies but never gives up.

See, we here know that quite well, but there are still many people who don't, and others who just want to believe that the series will never end, despite the facts that say explicitly that it has ended, and will never get another installment.Conan wrote:People just need to except the fact that the Dragonball Trilogy is just what it is; a three series trilogy that ended in Dragonball GT episode 64, there never was, is, and will never be a DBAF or other suceeding series. It's this growing collection of dim-bulbs that make DragonBall discussion difficult.
Confusion, probably not, but anything slapped with the "AF" logo automatically becomes legitmate proof in the eyes of the collection of people who believe in its existance. It's a disease that isn't likely to find a cure.LaRésistance wrote:Nice. It almost makes me wish AF really existed. But I doubt this will create confusion.
If you Google search DragonBall AF you're likely to come across forums with discussions DEDICATED to it... which is just plain bad, and makes distinguishing fact from fiction incresingly more difficult.

Yeah, but it´s not perfect... The most obvios flaw is that the saiyan character (probably raditz) has a higher resulution than the background, and the aura isn´t perfect either, but seen from a couple of meters away, maybe, it´s very nice!Mike D wrote:
