If that happens, I hope they do it in such a way that it doesn`t cancel the tournament. Like they did with Buu going after Broly.

I want to see this tournament reach its final match and end, even if gets interrupted.

So do I, I remember my dissapointment, when I realized, that all the heavy weights(Goku, Vegeta, Krillin and Gohan) were disqualified for leaving the arena.
At that point I really wanted them to complete a tournament, because so much time had passed since the last one.

The way the tournament-so-far is set up, it makes me think 18/Arale will fight Goku next. If thats how it is, then we should be seeing whoever Gotenks wins this, fight Fat Buu, and Vegetto will meet up with Goku a lot sooner than we think. Super Namek vs Cell and Vegeta vs U13 Vegeta anyone?

Ignore the winners of the fights that haven`t happened yet. They are fan predictions not made by me. But I think that the layout itself will be the layout used in the tournament. So, it would be impossible for 18/arale to fight against Goku before the final match.

I think they are going to let Universe 18 Vegeta win so he can fight against Goku. They tie, and they are going to have to do sudden death, but Goku has the idea to let them fuse so they can both move on. They then fight Vegetto in the awesome climax.

Nothing related to absurd proportions since Dragonball is really like that but I honestly think since this fight has started the artwork isn't at his best. It might be only my impression but, for example, I believe the three initial pages of this chapter are much better accomplished than after the fight began.

Just a simple question:
Why doesn't Goku have the round look to him? I know it's the style chosen but I much prefer the Piccolo Jr arc look.
This may be irrelevant to the page but I would like to know. It would have been a lot cooler to have Goku with his turtle outfit than the present one, certainly if he fought Krillin.

Hmm, I know what you mean. They are still great, but I think some of the following pages are a little better. But I can`t pinpoint exactly why. It might be just a matter of taste though, like favoring some panels and not differences in the quality of the art.

But like I said they are still great and I find it hard to spot anything not great.

Yea the tooth pick legs really are killing the whole explosive SSJ3! thing. It's a hey I have long hair and skinny legs kind of thing. It sure is odd.

Anyway, this freaking story is progressing so damn slow. These side stories, which are never even really finished nor much thought put into them is just subpar for such a high caliber fanmanga.

I don't know what's going on , perhaps they are stalling trying to come up with the specifics of the plot? I don't know man, they need help though. It started off as a great idea, but they are slowly falling off from their previous pedastal.


DBM is a perfect place to create all of those fights everyone creates the Fighter A vs Fighter B threads for.

Dabura vs Cell

Those are the types of fights we want to see.. Sure they need the plot and all that going on, but show the fans the fights we want to see.

Android 20 vs Freeza

Cooler vs whoever the hell you want.


Let some of the baddies win or soemthing. Also, they could have gone on about some of the more interesting universes better.

Particularly, the universe where Vegeta is the King, and he defeated Freeza, while he has Nappa/Raditz/Goku as his underlings.

That is a fan manga of it's own! This was a great idea, but IMO they haven't fulfilled it's full capabilities.

Also, they are rewriting the movies. Which is a perfect oppurtunity to create more realistic plots. Broly's character could be completely rewritten, instead they try to make slight improvements on an otherwise terrible plot.

They could have made Broly the first LSSJ, the everlasting Immortal Raging Beast etc etc. It would have been better than if he had any relation to the Z fighters.

Meh, what else...

Hey like I said, it is by far the best thing out there. I'm not trying to knock it, but I really feel they left out so much.

People are dieing to see a relevant fight between a lot of these fighters. They pretty much had Vegetto / Broly scare everyone. That fight could have waited.

Meh, enough complaining, hopefully things will turn around soon.

Don't you think that Adult Gotenks should be more, you know Adult? I never bought this whole Fusion = Childish personality. IMO Gotenks was childish before, because he was comprised of you know children. And he was just ridicolously powerful, which made him cocky. Vegetto as we can see, does not have these issues. It may appear that he does, but he is actually playing the part up to infuriate Buu , to which he will asborb Vegetto. Vegetto's comments like cmon hurry up it's your last option, all lead me to believe that he is not actually the jerk super cocky guy, Vegetto may perhaps have the best blend of personalities. IMO he is pretty much a Vegeta with a kind heart, very smart and cunning, just not ruthless, and Goku's soft heart has made him gentler in a good way. To me, Vegetto vs Buuhan is comparable almost to Goku vs Uub. Goku just saying wildly aggravating things to force his fighter do onething or another. As we can see Goku's trash talk is pitiful, while Vegetto is a badass while doing so.

Gotenks is probably a little more like Goten, as he seems to be more immature. But I mean he's a little kid. An Adult Gotenks might very well be much more mature as well. I understand the stigma that gets attached to it, but honestly I feel there is no basis. What's your opinion on that?

I don`t think he is immature.

Adults Gotenks in this comic is a very cheerful, playful and cocky character, pretty much like Vegetto is but in a totally different way. To Adult Gotenks fighting is not a serious business, its entertainment, he has fun with it and he is also full of himself and tries to always look awesome (even when it comes to girls).

Those are not signs of immaturity, they are just signs of personality.

That may be a good way to look at it. IMO Vegetto's personality is an unknown thing to us, I think DBM shows his personality accurately, not the Buuhan fight, which for the most part, was all an act.

I just don't think Goten/Trunks are unneccesarily cocky, I think Gotenks should be potrayed completely different then what he is at 27/28 as he was at 6/7. You know?
