If you could use a single image to represent the 4 main sagas of Z (Saiyan, Freeza, Cell, and Buu) which image would you use? Which image do you think would best represent the saga, and attract a newcomer to the series?

Ah, you're right. But my mistake was actually that for some reason in my mind I was lumping the namek arc in with the saiyan saga. Either way, a silly slip up. Well, the link says a pencil board..so maybe it was just a promotional/poster picture only? The only place I have ever seen it is the poster version and around the net though.

Even was back when Goku was a kid, he was always the strongest. I don't think the introduction of Super Saiyan exactly started that trend...

I just have to say that back in the days when my Dragonball Pictures folder was stuffed to the brim and half its contents was printed and then plastered all over my wall, these were my favorite types of images. The Buu arc had more of those 'look at us as a happy group' shot pics than any other, I think, but I don't mean those so much as the ones that really give you the feel of the entire arc itself. Like OP said, something you could show someone fairly ignorant of the series, and still give them an idea of what said arc was going to entail...always loved those for some reason, and this applies to pretty much every series I've ever been into (in the case of shorter ones, the images that reflect the story as a whole and not just one arc), not just DB.

On a related note, I always hated those pictures that were inconsistent - like, a Buu arc image with Vegeta in his Cell arc uniform, or a Freeza arc image with SSJ Gokou in his full Cell+ Gi on instead of the torn up old version he actually first transformed into...etc...
