Given the context of this thread, it was pretty obvious...

This topic is about Dragon Ball Z Kai Part 3, why would he be asking for the TV version and not the version from the set this topic is about?

I'd like to know if we get to hear the "bigger" swear words in this one, like shit or bitch. Didn't Sean say before that shit was recorded at a point?

Also, I really REALLY hope that Second form Freeza says "Which one of you do I send to hell first" this time

Because the OP said that he didn't have the DVD, and that the info he got about it came from some dude on FUNimation's forums.

But hearing from Colleen Clinkenbeard and Monica Rial, that'll be a treat.
Tell me you don't watch this show just for the voices. It sounds like you're unable to watch this series unless every voice actor can do this, that, and the third. You should become a director at Funimation, because the industry may benefit from your expert instruction. No, seriously, you can probably earn a huge check while you're at it.

Well, I'll grant them that "Only a Chilling Elegy" is a bit different than a normal song due to the huge choir singing...and the main lyric's are sung by a popular J-Artist, aren't they? Copyrights could be an issue.

There's also the matter of, y'know, the horrible writing which bears no resemblance to the original. And the synth orgy that is the score.

There goes our chances of seeing "Kokoro no Hane" get dubbed... :|

DBZ bootlegs have the movie 9 cover with the pioneer movie 2 description on the back and the disc actually has a Japanese soap opera in MEPG2.

My interest in Kai is largely contingent on the improved English dub, of which in part is due to the voices, yes. Otherwise, I have the Dragon Boxes. And Clinkenbeard and Rial are two of my favorite VAs in the Funimation pool, even outside of Kai, so any interview with them would be valued, but especially since they're doing an excellent job in this show as well.

And that comment teeters close to the "let's see YOU do better" line of reasoning. Which, as I've established, is complete nonsense.

Why are you mad as hell? The guy is just stating his opinion like the rest of us.

I think FUNimation will actually try to resolve the copyrights regarding that song. Having the opening song dubbed and the ending song not dubbed, will just look weird and unprofessional.

It's happened before with School Rumble? Some parts of the show have a Japanese opening theme with an English ending theme...

I like to believe there's a difference between stating an opinion and bashing for the sake of bashing. You do not have to watch the series dubbed if you don't like it dubbed. No one's forcing you. It's as if being a sarcastic critic without being pleased with anything non-Nihongo is the new way to enjoy animu.

Except he outright stated his appreciation of Rial and Clinkenbeard, so it's not like he doesn't like dubs. He even said he liked the Kai dub.

Not everyone is going to like the D-list anime dub actors that you like. Deal with it, the same way I deal with it when someone praises Nadolny over Clinkenbeard.

Except I couldn't care less about actors. Good one, but I'm talking about just enjoying the darn show. Can you do that? You know, watch it without going "FFFFFFFF- that was so not in the Japanese version" or "Ugh, too grainy. Voice sucks ass." The show is called "Dragon Ball Z / Kai," not "Seiyu Saikyo Showdown Zetto" or "Voice Actor Battle Hour" in the U.S. That's why I get why one person said that comments like that can be "depressing." It's as if there's a meta-method to watch anime. Maybe it's just me, but that's how I see it, anyway. Personally, I like Z Kai dubbed because it's just Dragon Ball fun; something I can enjoy.
