(1) [tie] Buu-era Goten and Trunks. They are so annoying, they are not funny, and they just waste time. I can't point to a single good decision they made at any point in the series, and both characters are obnoxious as hell.

I agree with everything you said, but for some reason I do like Gotenks yet despise Buu era Goten and Trunks.

The only character I really hate is Broly, for all the reasons people are mentioning.

Sure there are characters I don't necessarily like, but they have their reasons for being the way they are. For example, I dislike kid Trunks, but you can see why he has grown up to be a brat.

Similarly, I guess you can see why Mr. Satan has turned into the guy he has, clearly the praise has gone to his head.

I hate Broly. It's infuriating for a character that powerful to be constantly fighting scrubs and show up for 3 movies. It's like he's relegated as a gag character.

I would say Kid Boo because of Budokai 2, but I guess that's not a logical reason for hating him in the series, so I'll go with #19. Just an unpleasant character, and sounds annoying in both the subs and the dub. It's amazing how Dr. Gero decided to make such a terrible robot after coming so much farther than that with his previous robots.

I don't really hate any characters but I don't really like Babidi at all. I also don't care for Garlic Jr although he's just a filler/movie character.

I thought it sucked that Piccolo just became basically a babysitter after the Cell Games. Also Gohan's whining is very annoying at times.

After having just finished a readthrough of the whole manga, I actually love Piccolo's role in the Buu arc. Him taking on the role of teacher kept him involved in a funny and engaging way but without the "green balls" he received in the last two arcs where he got an "awesome" power up only for it to be immediately completely irrelevant.

Until the Boo arc, he got little to no redeemable features. He got a rock for brains and makes Yamcha`s cockiness seem like a small thing.

You know, Vegeta has some pretty idiotic moments, but I don't think that he deserves to be called that stupid. Vegeta distracted Cell during his beam struggle against Gohan, comes up with the idea of using the Genki Dama on Buu and even escapes Freeza's ship after stealing the Dragonballs. I'm sure there are plenty of other moments like that to list, but those are just the first few that came to mind. I'll agree about the cockiness, though.

Exactly. The only robot out to help Gero kill Goku and company, completely obedient and would never turn and betray his creator.

I really hate Tambourine for killing Krillin and that Goku was not able to get him the first time around!! Other notable mentions are Akuman for being kinda cheap with his Devil Mite Beam and General Rildo because many things on him were never clear (was he always in control by Baby? Was Baby the one to defeat him...?)

I never hate him, but probably Vegeta. He's very one-note up until the end of Cell arc, when he finally evolves into one of the best characters. But Vegeta in Cell arc, etc, and his habit for confusing pride with blind arrogance, I found him to be a pretty irritating character.

But yeah, I love him in Buu arc.

Hate is a strong word but i really dislike Tarble for showing up (in generally) decades after the Frieza era. Then his weak personality, his taste in 'women' which is just ridiculous, and that he can't handle two plump Frieza Soldiers. Not a great surprise that Vegeta doesn't care much about his brother.

Chi-Chi, who reminds me far too much of my own mother, [I originally had a long bit here about my personal issues with her but you're not interested in that].

Goku, two-dimensional as a rock, way too little of a moral compass, and way too much scene-stealing from far more interesting characters.

Cell-Saga Gohan, suffering from a sudden lack of spine and gaining ludicrous power-ups out of the ass (even compared to his father in that saga) with little to no justification.

Goku, the most brilliant and inteligent character that ever lived. He single handedly defeated Freeza, Cell, Majin Buu, his wife and Bulma's mom. He truly is the most bloodthirsty monster that has ever lived. I mean, he once killed a Broly with a blanket. A warrior of this status truly deserves Hank Hill's propane award.

And I hate uh his wife, because she almost gave him food poisoning.

Yea Kaioshin was a big bust. IMO Pan from GT just drove me nuts. I have never thirsted for someone's death in my entire life as much as I did for her. I was praying that somehow someway she would be tortured mercilessly and masterbate to her howls and screams. I watched the American version, which may play a part as well, but her voice, her attitude, jesus. I need some Piccolo vs Goku hole in the chest shoulder area kind of screaming from Pan. Man I freaking hate her!

But besides her, no one else really bothered me too much. But I don't like watching the anime, it just drives me nuts oddly enough. The manga is such a smooth read nowadays I really prefer it and in the manga nothing is ever really overdone, and it's hard to hate a character in a short time period like that.

For some reason I really didn't like Spopovich. Not because he beat the crap out of Videl, but something about him just made me not like him off the bat.

I actually don't like Gohan that much until the Buu saga where he kind of becomes a goofier character at the beginning of it.

Also, Future Trunks has no personality. I don't see why he has such a big fanbase other than the fact that he's Vegeta's son. The beginning of Movie 7 confirms this.
