DAT BATTLE DAMAGED VEGETA. Unf.
The Goku looks good too, but I think the Vegeta figure is the better of the two. Want.

Re: Mike's Upcoming JPNS Toy Releases Thread
Hi people! I'm new here (obviously) and I've always collected DBZ action figures, but these gashapons are gaining my attention, and I'm going to collect the Freeza's Force/Legend of Saiyan lines (HSCF is great and all, but over my four websites, the only ones I could find were frieza in 2nd and 3rd form). I live in Australia so I have to import everything, which sucks. Also, someone posted images of all the HSCF figures to date, but why do the numbers on the corners of the boxes keep resetting to 1?
EDIT: Okay, it turns out that ebay has heaps of HSCF figures. Now I'm very confused as to which line I should collect...

Be careful on eBay, lots of bootleg figures out there.
Yeah, the HSCF line is pretty screwed up, and they've restarted the numbering several times. The most recent restart was with Kai.

Re: Mike's Upcoming JPNS Toy Releases Thread
Don't buy any HSCF figures on ebay unless they're:
1. The American rereleases found in the crane games.
2. From a seller located in Japan.
While there are definitely some legitimate sellers from Honk Kong, most are bootleggers and 95% of the HSCF on ebay are bootlegs.
As for why the series numbers reset, it's just a silly marketing thing. Presumably with the jump to Kai, Banpresto thought it would refresh or revive the toy line. Toy companies do things like this all the time.

You make ebay sound like a dangerous place (in fact, I'm still not sure if some of my ultimate collection figures from that site are bootlegs). I think I'll just stick to the legend of saiyan figures on Angolz.
Edit: Wait a second; Angolz is safe, right?

Yes, Angolz is a very reputable site. I bought all of my HSCF figures there.ssjtrunks51 wrote:You make ebay sound like a dangerous place (in fact, I'm still not sure if some of my ultimate collection figures from that site are bootlegs). Angolz is cheap and good. They charge your right away for preorders though, which I don't like. Other than that they're great.

Yep, definitely getting that Tullece.
Re: Mike's Upcoming JPNS Toy Releases Thread
Hmm, my dealer says it's not out yet, but will be in later December. I am dissapoint.
In any case, I'm getting that Tullece (although his pose looks like crap), and Vegeta and Goku Super Saiyan 3.
Can't wait for that other collection with #15. :3

These figs look pretty good except the...uh...crotchpads...on tulece' armour seem a bit too long. Wasn't a Super Trunks figure going to be released as well? And where can I buy these? HLJ?

Re: Mike's Upcoming JPNS Toy Releases Thread
Yes the Ascended Saiyan Trunks was released, I'll upload better pictures showcasing all of them in a minute. You can currently get them off Ebay, although I'm sure Angolz and Amazon will have them ready in a week or so. A random Japanese blog said they're released already but that could probably just be the main release starting in Japan. We won't see pre-orders honored or see any of these pop up on the main sites for about a week or two.ssjtrunks51 wrote:These figs look pretty good except the...uh...crotchpads...on tulece' armour seem a bit too long. If anyone can recommend a good ebay seller that doesnt sell Gashapon bootlegs please let me know. I'm desperate for these new DG series but 90% of gashapons sold on ebay are knock offs.

I'm pretty sure we'll see it hit very soon, as I see more of these photos popping up:

Seconding this seller. I've bought quite a few things from them, all were legit.Raithos wrote:Hmm, Kakalolo12 is where I got mine from. They were legit pieces :]
Re: Mike's Upcoming JPNS Toy Releases Thread
I don't buy from kakalolo personally, but I do know he is a good seller. Actually, I think I bought some things from him before I found my now regular seller.

Re: Mike's Upcoming JPNS Toy Releases Thread
New Banpresto HSCF Volume 7 released today.
This set features Androids 17 and 18, as well as Future Gohan and Future Trunks in Saiyan armor.
From initial speculation these looks excellent, and I'm glad I preordered them months ago.
