Zangya vs Android 18

Zangya should definitely be able to take Android 18 no problem IMO since she's able to damage SSJ Gohan(FPSSJ) a good amount where as Android 16 couldn't hurt Semi-Perfect Cell at all and the gap in power between C-18 and Zangya is bigger.

I think they would kill each other, I just have a feeling that it would turn out that way. Everybody after the Cell saga can be hurt before transforming in the next stage SS or up.

Zanya should win no problem because she was shown keeping up with an ascended saiyan Trunks while Android 18 could never do that.

Yeah that's definitely true. C18 wouldn't be able to do much of anything to ASSJ Future Trunks.

At that point wasn't Future Trunks just using his SSJ form though?

I can't count how many times I've seen this fight discussed and seen people actually say that #18 might win. Zangyaka seemed to be a bit stronger than USSjin Trunks after the Seru Arc, she'd defeat #18 by smacking her with her hair.

Well even if he was, his SSJ form is much stronger than it was during the Android Saga, since he's been in the ROSAT. Android 18 only has the advantage over Pre-ROSAT SSJs.

Zangya was able to actually do damage to Super Saiyan Gohan from the Cell Games, whom by that point had so far surpassed Android 18 that it wasn't even funny. It'd be a shut-out for Zangya.

SS Vegeta couldn't beat 18, and Gohan was a good deal weaker than him at the time. Why is SS Gohan suddenly hot stuff? The RoSaT is the first truly hardcore training he'd ever had.

Outright, no. It's strongly implied however, since he is shocked to find out that his father was fighting Cell at full force. While eveybody including Vegeta, Piccolo and Trunks, were amazed at the power display, Gohan seemed less impressed with Goku's performance, even going so far as to question why the rest thought Goku was doing well against Cell.

What are you talking about, Gohan first turned SSJ in RoSaT, if that's what you mean, because looking at your post, it doesn't seem like you know much about the androids Arc...

A little off-topic but if Gohan was that strong against Cell how could he have lost against the Androids in Future Trunks timeline? Was the year he trained with Goku really more important than all the battles he fought against the androids (and i'm sure he trained in that timeline as well).

No RoSaT training and not being a part of the main timeline worked against his gains in power.

I think my real issue is what I seem to be viewing as a plot fart, that being how Gohan, after only going SS in the RoSat and that being the first "supernatural" training he's ever had, could one-up Vegeta, who had fought all his life and was gravity training like hell the prior three years, and broke super sayain in two months, so thoroughly.

That, and due not owning the manga or those episodes and thus having not seen the full scenes in a while, I forgot these various statements about SS Gohan one-upping Goku, which due to reasons stated above is all Buu-worthy silliness. Same issue I had with Goten and Trunks, only somewhat more reasonable.

I guess it's just on account of being Gohan. Goku said that the power within Gohan began to awaken during their training in the Room of Spirit and Time. That seemed to be Goku's plan all along. He said after they first walked in that he wanted Gohan to be stronger than himself.
