Ooh, the website shows 3 shots we've seen in the 4 animations in Dragon Soul! But wait, there's Babidi!

Heh, I mentioned that back on the first page.supergokuden2 wrote:Ooh, the website shows 3 shots we've seen in the 4 animations in Dragon Soul! But wait, there's Babidi!

Where's my future Trunks?
It's like Japenese artists don't like to draw two Trunks on the same image...
Other than that, awesome cover.

Hell, the Japanese don't even like to consider the two separate characters. I even asked a Japanese fan about this and he confirmed it (and then admitted he didn't know why).

Best cover in ages. I love how Videl is bewildered at the sight of teen Gohan.

She's looking at her hand isn't she? It's like she adjusting her glove, looking at it and Kid Gohan at the same time...Snail wrote:Best cover in ages. I love how Videl is bewildered at the sight of teen Gohan.
Also, why would she be bewildered at the sight of Teen Gohan? They met when they were teens.

Just going by video game/FUNimation naming spec there.

How to make Fishman not buy this game: Make it crappy DS-quality 3D instead of sprites. Why do these idiotic developers insist on releasing inevitably ugly 3D DS games instead of crafting the kind of beautiful fluid sprite movements this handheld deserves?
Super Saiyan Blue is not a creative color.
DBZ Movie 3 told a stronger and more believable "Evil Goku" story in 60 minutes than Dragon Ball Super has in 20 episodes. And it did it with better visuals and score.

And that first link on the sidebar is an awfully interesting page. I don't recognize that frame of Goku and Cell fighting, though. Pretty new 2D animation for an opening anyone?Tanooki Kuribo wrote:The site has been updated. Man, that's an awesome picture of everyone!

Also, can anyone tell if it says anywhere on that page who is developing this game?

It seems if you pre-order early enough, you get a DBH card.

So far all signs (excluding screenshots) are pointing to it being an in-house game, but I'm still holding out for it being another Dimps masterpiece.Haseowolf wrote:And that first link on the sidebar is an awfully interesting page. We've seen several screenshots of new Kai animation, so I'm guessing and really hoping so.Haseowolf wrote:And that first link on the sidebar is an awfully interesting page. So on the bottom screen pic, I'm guessing the up and down arrows make you fly up and down?

Must..stop...getting...excited...!!
Seriously though, I'm adoring the art style for this game. Look at all the expressions everyone has! Despite the DS' limited hardware, they're really plling off some expressive looking models here!
Seeing Chaouzu in there... is this the first time Chaozu has been playable in a 2D fighter?

Hopefully Broli and Bardock will be absent.

Yep. My guess he's going to have a unique telekinetic style that's hard to be good with like Mewtwo from SSB, and everyone's going to rant when he's taken out next game.Rory wrote:Must..stop...getting...excited...!!

Speaking of the screen, I'm noticing that Kuririn is dodging, not blocking, Chaozu's attack. Could this be part of the automatic weak attacks/blocking? Or is it just like another way to avoid damage?
We need a translator.

Broli's absence would be appreciated, though Bardock has never bugged me too much.Thanos wrote:Hopefully Broli and Bardock will be absent.

I love the new update, I can't wait for the game now. I can't believe their is a good amount of characters since I thought the list would be rather small.
