How about a fan-section?

How about making a section for fanmanga, fanart, fanfiction and other fancrap? That way people wouldn't be breaking any rules about relevent posts and we could still steer away from the use of other people's boards where rules aren't followed as they are here at daizex.

That said anyody willing to help me run a Saiyan RPG that's a total ripoff of Runescape.com? I'm looking for a board similar to the one found here, only one that has a built-in dice server (so players can do the rolling themselves and not cheat). This also isn't the kind of project I'd like to GM by myself.

It's a personal-preference thing. I just don't have a whole lot of interest in that stuff, and therefore have even less interest in moderating discussions on it.

With Bejita's, Holken's, and my fan stuff, a fan section would be helpful. Especially knowing that a lot of us here do fan art, fan fiction, etc. Oh well, it's all up to EX anyway.

I don't know about fan-fiction, but I wouldn't complain if there were a proper place to post fan art. I just feel uncomfortable not knowing where to put it . . . technically I'm not sure if it's even allowed, so I don't bother.

If the forum is designed a certain way where some things are tolerated and others aren't, then it's that way for a reason and I wouldn't want to screw with that.

That is what Randomness is for. Not just non-DBZ stuff but fan stuff as well. Hmm.... probably should break the boards up a bit... Hmmm.

Thanks, Son; I'm glad you enjoyed it that much, though "genius" miiiiiiight be over-the-top. Still, I'm very flattered. I like creating little funny bits like that.

Interesting note, though, I've also dipped into serious fanfiction now and then too. There was a mid-length story I wrote concerning Vegeta . . . I'd post a few paragraphs here, but I choose to respect EX's wishes . . . that explored the seven year gap between Cell and Buu, and what "happened" (that would be the fan-fiction part) to change him from the cold warrior he was to what we see when he sacrifices himself during the Buu saga. Fun family stuff, you know. Getting back on topic, though (as I have a terrible habit of rambling) . . .

If I understand things well enough, then it goes like this: if fan-fiction doesn't suit the administrators, then it's not gonna happen. We can deal; there's always private messages and e-mail for that sort of thing.

Still, if a fan-fiction section ever does open up . . .

I re-arranged things on the Random boards earlier. There is now a board on their specific for Fan Fiction and one specific for Fan Art. So, go join Random and post! XP

My sister would, but she still hasn't had her registration accepted by a staff member.

That would be nice. As far as I have heard (haven't seen it yet), there wasn't any scenes cut, just the usual season 2 writing and strangly with season 4 music (I just wish they kept those cell phones ringing "Butterfly". I liked that part.).

If there's any Digimon fans out there, it's on again at 9AM Eastern on ABC Family this morning.
