Yeah, I'm quite sure VLC will just play it no matter what, but you may need a better source.Choice195 wrote:Quick question, Are Region 2 DVD's playable on U.S. Laptops?supergokuden2 wrote:Boom.

After selling my DBZ Movie 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 Blu-rays I got $4. They had the Wrath of the Dragon single for 6$ and I had $6 so I got that.

Got the GT Perfect files from Ebay today. I'm really surpirsed actually. They are very small! Around the size of the tankoubon ( I got the revised edition). I'm just wondering, were the old ones small? Also, I'll post some pics if anyone wants.

Guess it's worth mentioning since it just arrived. I got DBZ Movie 5 from Amazon, along with a couple other things. It had that mystical dub on it so I had to pick it up.

Re: What's your most recent Dragonball purchase?
A while back, I got Dragon Ball Season 4, and can't recall if I mentioned it or not. Until now, it was my most recent purchase.
Most recently I got the S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan Son Gokou figure.
I was so excited! Though that excitement didn't even last a whole day. I don't know if I should make a new thread explaining it, but since it's relevant to my purchase, I think I'll post about this here. If a mod thinks it deserves it's own thread, then feel free to move it as you wish.
I had wanted this figure for a long time, and I got it from a US seller on eBay to boot (and a seemingly reliable one that I've ordered from many times throughout the years. The seller's name is "animeking_inc", or just Anime King), so I received it in 2 days, while still paying around what I'd pay total from Hobby Link Japan. It also finally got here yesterday.
I noticed many of the joints felt incredibly brittle (the peg joints in the thighs, and in the torso mostly), like they were twisting as I moved them, and they constantly made a very loud creaking sound while moving as well. I figured it was just due to them not being loosened up enough, so I shrugged it off since I was able to move them anyway, though I tried to be as gentle with them as possible.
Then that night, I was straightening his legs, and suddenly his right thigh's peg joint completely snapped off on me... I couldn't, and still can't believe that the joints could be so brittle, especially when I've never heard of that complaint before. Didn't even have the thing for a whole day!!
I have to ask... Is this normal? Was mine defective, or is it possible that it was a pretty much 100% identical looking bootleg, with weak plastic? If this is normal, I don't know if I should get any more S.H.Figuarts Dragon Ball figures, because I like to put my figures in different poses from time to time. If I can't do that, then I may as well pass on this line, which would be a shame because the articulation and sculpting is top notch.

There are no Figuarts bootlegs that I know of. Japanese action figures are notoriously fragile though. I had similar concerns/disappointments with the Hybrid figures in that respect.

Dragon Ball. Vol. 1 [Selecta Vision] Like the cover art of these releases
$80 some dollars for 28 episodes isn't too bad. These also seem to have higher quality Japanese audio on these than the original dragon boxes..odd..

That.... doesn't sound normal. It might have been defective. Mine has never broken, and is quiet when the parts are moved. Sorry for you, they're really awesome.
