Yeah, I think Dragon Ball is the funniest Shonen action series around (of course, silly comedy Shonen like Gintama, Dr. Slump, Bo^7, etc. can be funnier at times, with their complete randomness. But not always!). One Piece does it really well, with Luffy's stupidity and stuff. Fullmetal Alchemist, too...

Any other Shonen has the same generic gags with the same generic reaction shots.

I thought the chapter was okay, but I agree with Gaffer in that the author should do more with the story instead of just a rehash that won't measure up to the original.

Should’ve made a completely new story rather than a rework.
Hopefully, the other chapters will be better, but I’m not holding my breath.

I enjoyed the first chapter, art wise I think he was shooting for chibi or something similar but I won't complain about it as I enjoyed it.
I found the first chapter to be pretty funny

I'm pretty much on the same line as you here. I hope this is a nice little introduction for later chapters which will stray away from the similar aspects present in the chapter released already.

How disappointing if it turns out to be just a oneshot. Oh well. It was a cute little chapter. Not really exciting, but still cute. I would've read their Chapter 2 if they had decided to continue it.

How come when we ever get something new with DB lately, its only a once and only chance type of thing? We got a Jump Special two years ago, and never got any new specials since then (Unless you want to count the Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans remake which was only made to cash in on RB2 to hype up the game). We got a Dragon Ball live action movie over a year ago, and I highy doubt we are going to get another one anytime soon.

I really don't like that we are not getting a second chapter .
