Since ShadowDude's post apparently fell victim to the ol' "last-post-on-the-page" glitch...

Just a small question: how do I put an avatar as if it was a small picture, like most of you are posting?

Put your avatars URL in between img tags.

The thing is that my avatar is originally 300 x 300 or something between these lines and, obviously, I don't want to post it as fully-sized. Now, sorry if my question wasn't clearer, but what I really want to know is if it's possible to "shrink" the image? Thanks anyway.

Try using this site.

Since your pic in your avatar is 350 X 350, try resizing it by 23%. That should get it to 80 X 80. Click on "Preview Image", then right-click and select "View Image Info", then right-click and select copy. Paste the URL on here and put "Img" tags around the URL.

Hope that helps.

Right-click your avatar, click "Copy Image URL", and then paste the URL between image tags on the board.

You need to use some kind of image editing program to resize it to 80x80, then save it and upload it somewhere. If you're using a Windows operating system you should have MSpaint, but if you don't there are some other free programs you could download. I use Photoshop though, so I'm not familiar with any of the free alternatives. Can't give any suggestions there, sorry.

So, without further ado:

Before/After:

I'll use this one until January 2nd, at which point I'll change back to my old one.

EDIT: I lie. I changed to an avatar of Piccolo from DBZ Movie 5, and besides, it's been five days since Christmas. :P

Unless someone can jazz up the one I have now with a bit of New Years' flair, then I'll stick with this one.

My avatar was previously a piece of fan art for the Showtime series, Dexter. But this Omega Popo was too good not to use. And in the spirit of the Holidays, I threw a santa hat on him. Badabing, it's Santa Omega Popo.

It was a stylized depiction. You can see the full piece here.

Probably due more to the dimensional restraints (80x80) than the work itself. It's a very good picture.

Also, one of you should seriously consider changing your name. I just now figured out that there are two "Piccolo Daimao(h)"s. I thought you were both one person and you changed your avatar a lot.

That was entirely my fuck-up. I only browsed the forums for a bit before signing up with the username "Piccolo Daimaoh", and didn't see that someone already had a similar one. So I'm sorry. I doubt the admins will let me change my username, as I've been here for almost a year now.
