That.

I've checked for December 16th, no new episodes are airing that day.
I think DBZK at least for new episodes is done for 2010.

It's likely because they haven't gotten the final schedules for next week.

What the hell man? You must bleed hundred dollar bills. Nevermind cost, but what's the point of having three separate cable subscriptions?

Often times things can change at last minute or cable can screw up. Know quite a few times Avatar was on, but my Digital cable said "So Wierd" was on. And remember the time when CN was originally gonna show Justice League: the Savage Time, but instead at last minute they showed a Land Before Time sequel and cable said it was the former, and my cousin and I were pissed.

I bet the Dragon Ball Z Kai sets surpass the Dragon Boxes in number by the end of the release. None of us would have expected that when the Dragon Boxes were first announced. Then again, none of us would have expected a lot of things. :D

Not much of a bet. There will be either 7 or 8 Dragon Box sets (8 if they release the movies). There will probably be about 10-12 Kai sets depending on how many episodes Kai ends up at. As it stands, they have enough episodes for 6.5 sets, and we haven't quite hit the Cell Games yet. Factoring in at least 7 or 8 episodes for that, then another 50 or so for the Buu material and they're up to 10 sets minimum. In my estimation, Kai will have 11 sets total, which accounts for 143 episodes, just shy of half of the total number of episodes in Z originally, which makes sense given that Kai is moving roughly twice as fast.

*Of course, if Dragon Ball and DBGT get Dragon Box releases, we can probably expect 1 GT set and at least 3 or 4 Dragon Ball sets, in which case my whole calculation is thrown off.

No I meant by the time the Dragon Boxes finish their run, there will be more sets of DBZ Kai out already. It was my backhanded way of saying FUNimation is taking their sweet time putting these Dragon Boxes out. Basically being a whiny fanboy.

^^ Ah, sorry. Misunderstood.

I'm still hoping the DBoxes finish their run by next September or November. Not too unrealistic, I think. Box 5 comes out in February, and 6 could still conceivably come out in May. That leaves room for 7 in September (the normal release window) and 8-the movies-in November if they feel so inclined. But you are right that they're pumping out Kai sets pretty quickly, so you never know if that release will surpass the Boxes soon ^_^

Just a quick update. Looks like the next two episodes of Kai air on Thursday at 8 and 8:30. No confirmation on next week yet. Only 4 more Freeza episodes to go after this :(

Additionally, we only have 2 more episodes in general with Chris Ayers unless they bring back the hell filler in the end of the Buu fight (I doubt the Pikkon stuff will appear in Kai). Enjoy it, folks. Besides the video games, this is probably the last chance to hear his brilliant performance.
