Hatchiyack or Cell?

I'm not sure if this question has popped up before in the forum, but who do you think is stronger (Or who IS stronger)? Hatchihyack, or Cell?


Also, I can already tell this topic is going to be a blast! Can't you tell the sarcasm?

Hatchyack's OVA happened before the battle against Cell... Gohan wasn't in the super saiyan 2 form! Obviously, Cell is stronger!

I would give it to Cell because Hatchy was comparative with Broli, who I don't see quite on Perfect Cell's level.

On topic, I'd put Cell as my bet, as Cell seems to have more cunning. There's also the timing thing as well, that Cell can neatly bypass.

I also just realized something, it took all of Son's (Goku), Vegeta's, Gohan's, Trunks', and Piccolo's combined power to defeat Hatchiyack. So it may be so that Hatchiyack might be as strong as Perfect Form Cell.

It took the power of SSj Goku, SSj Vegeta, SSj Trunks, SSj Gohan, and Piccolo to kill off Hatchiyack off for good. I would say that they are pretty even but in a fight Cell would win due to his regen, and Hatchiyack's strongest attack takes too long to be fire at. Cell would able to attack him head on, and stop him from using his ultimate attack.

No question about it, Super Perfect Cell is stronger than Broly and Hatchiyack. But Perfect Cell is a bit different.
Broly takes place during the days of rest before the Cell Games, along with Hatchiyack. Here's where I see them at,

Super Perfect Cell > Broly (LSSJ Movie 10) > Perfect Cell (Full power; one hell of a power up, I must say) > Hatchiyack> Broly (LSSJ )> Perfect Cell (Slightly Unsuppressed) > Perfect Cell (Suppressed) > Goku (Full Power SSJ) > Broly (SSJ)

It took SSJ Goku, SSJ Gohan, SSJ Vegeta, and SSJ Future Trunks to take out Hatchiyack in the original OVA "Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans". Piccolo was down and not included in the beam struggle. Only in that redone OVA "Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans" does Piccolo help them.

IMO Cell is stronger than Hatchiyack. I'm assuming your talking about Cell at his strongest appearance Super Perfect Cell. So obviously I think he's stronger. But if your comparing Hatchiyack from the redone OVA the battle would be much closer though. In the original OVA SSJ Goku, SSJ Gohan, SSJ Vegeta and SSJ Future Trunks all fire their signature beams into one beam against Hatchiyacks beam and the Z Fighters beam just completely dominates Hatchiyack and he dies. In the redone OVA it's the same people firing their beams at Hatchiyack with the addition of Piccolo helping as well. Not only that in the redone OVA Hatchiyack actually is able to hold off the Z Fighters beam for a while and it's a pretty decent beam struggle. But in the end Hatchiyack can't hold their beam off any longer and he dies. So they make Hatchiyack wayy more beastly in the redone OVA.

But to sum it up Super Perfect Cell > Hatchiyack IMO

I'd see Hatchiyack as much weaker than full power Perfect Cell, while I'd see Hatchiyack's super form as being stronger.

After the near death power up, I'd see Cell having the advantage against any version of Hatchiyack by a long shot.

They're all meant to be in the same general "range" of power. But I like to think that Perfect Cell at his best represents the upper ceiling of said range.
