Ya, I saw people on GameFAQs claiming the graphics for the intro we're great and looking at me funny when I said they sucked. But the fact is... they suck.
As for Mystic Gohan facing off against Cell Jr.s, it's not the first out of place matches have ocured. Gogeta Vs. Broly for instance.

<Xyex> Original Freeza never sounded like a chick to me.
<Kaboom> Neither does Rita
<Xyex> Good point.

Well, the thing there is, it's a mish-mash. There's original Japanese BGM, American BGM, Budokai 1 BGM, English voices, and Japanese voices all mixed together... It is possible that Spike is making the game that way (Perhaps dual audio for voice & music, perhaps just the voice with the musics mixed naturally, whatever) or it's like that because they used both the Japanese and English versions of the game to make that video. Don't know.Mugenmidget wrote:Xyex...did you realize in that "Tenkaichi.zip" movie that you posted, even though it's very difficult to hear with the terrible sound, that there is ORIGINAL SERIES BGM being used as stage music?! I sure as hell hope that stays true for one of the releases, Japanese or otherwise.

What I gathered from it was, Budokai music for versus fights, and perhaps Japanese BGM for story driven fights.Xyex wrote:Well, the thing there is, it's a mish-mash. But where's the American BGM? Is it that song at the very beginning with Raditz fighting?
Naw man. That BGM is from the Japanese original. You can hear it in Movie 5 when Piccolo fights Neiz and kills Doore.Mugenmidget wrote:What I gathered from it was, Budokai music for versus fights, and perhaps Japanese BGM for story driven fights.Xyex wrote:Well, the thing there is, it's a mish-mash. I don't know where it is. I don't know the music myself. I'm just repeating what I've heard.

Were they really? I don't buy that more people would have been on alert about this.Dominator wrote:Illegal copies of Sparking have already been released in the UK, hey do you think Bandai is getting lazy with cel-shaded graphics now?

It's not. Sparking! isn't hitting Japan until October (the 6th I think). Which means the game is most likely still in final touch up mode. The last few bugs and tweaks are being worked out.

There was no American BMG. Someone said it was music from Budokai 1. I'm not sure of where it's from but I've listened to the sound numerous times and I'm sure there's no American theme in there (thank God).Xyex wrote:I don't know where it is. No, I heard i t too. You hear for a few secs the music clip that is a) on the blizzard stage in Budokai 2 or b) the planet namek stage in Budokai 1 (it's the same clip).
You hear it when Vegeta defeats Freeza in the end (I know because I loved the particular music clip, heard it a million times, and would recognize it anywhere).
Frankly, I doubt there is going to be original BGM from the show (aside from We Gotta Power!! or Cha la la), I think it has to do with rights or something (or the programmers think it's inappropriate to use that music).
However, in Robotech Battlecry there were songs that were MIMICKING the original soundtrack of the show (the instruments were different, and the synthesis was a bit off, but you could recognize it as a "different version" of the same song (like hearing Head Cha la la played by a piano player--you recognise the tune, but it sounds differently).

"Destiny"... people claim by force what they desire, wreak havoc upon others in order to acquire it... and they call it "destiny".

If I am not mistakin that's just the demo version of the game, and there is not guarantee that music will be on Budokai Tenkaichi
