That future gohan looks pretty cool. Hey can anybody tell me what scale the following lines are in?
HSCF
HG
Digital Grade
Imagination (the ones with auras and stuff)

Cheers.

HSCF, 15cm max.
HG average size is like 8-9cm, there are numerous exceptions, like ones that are on stands etc.
Digital Grade (same as HG).
Imagination can range from 7-13cm, depending on which ones you get.
In essence the HSCF are average sized figures, and the HG,DG, and Imagination are all miniature gashapon sizes.

Sounds like everything I wanted to collect is in my favourite scale except for HSCF. Awesome.

Oh yes. Collect HG and DG and Imagination! I love small figures the best. In reality I only have a handful off HSCF, HQDX, and Large scale vinyl figures. As it currently stands the meat of my collection is gashapon :P.

Not to mention the smaller scale freeza's force/legend of saiyan lines. Those are amazing!

YES, if you collect any line, collect those. Simply wonderful. I'm not too hyped about the Freeza's force, but legend of Saiyan? I'll buy that.

Woot for having limited amounts of money! :P Lol I'm screwing myself but i figure you only live once so I keep charging my credit card some more, lol. The recent Legend of Saiyan lines are a tad pricey though I will admit. Angolz has helped out a bit in that regard, but yeah much more expensive than HG and DG gashapon, lol.

Yeah, Angolz is awesome. You can get HG figures for $2.50 a pop. Hopefully I'll get a set of legend of saiyan figures for christmas...

So I'm cruising one of my Japanese blogs and I come across a nice tidbit, to the corner in the left seems to be Digital Grade 3!!! Also One Piece digital grade as well.

So did I, but apparently they pushed it back to March! Both Digital Grade 3 and Digital grade special were supposed to be released in December, but Bandai just went ahead and released the special and pushed the 3 release back 6 months :/. It's stupid since I'm pretty sure they have the figures ready for DG 3, so we could see it drop before that. But the slated release date has been pushed wayyy back for the moment.

I always loved Japan's DB products, much nicer than what we typically got in the US. I'd love to collect some of the gashapons and the like, as they are very beautifully done...but I am a HUGE stickler for scale, and I haven't found a series yet that has a decent scale with lots of characters.

Hmm, what size are you looking for? I find, HG and DG are plenty big enough with more characters than you can count. Lol

It isn't the size of the figure line, its the scale of the characters themselves. I don't really care if the figure line is a 2 inch scale or 12 inch scale, but I REALLY REALLY dislike when I'm given a 5 inch Goku and then one of the smaller characters (kid Goku, Kid Vegeta, Kid Gohan, kid Trunks, Goten, Chaozu, etc.) comes up to his chin. Every line that has a variety of characters always seems to screw up the scale somewhere along the line, even the SoHF or the HG/DG lines.

Ahhhh I see what you mean, yeah I agree with that. But with the magnitude of characters they release its not surprising that they disregard scale a lot of the time, lol.

I've been out of the loop for a while but what happened to the HG series? Is the DG line a continuation of it?
