Hey guys, I'm back with a rant! Subject: ARGH COSTUMES! WHY SO MANY RECOLORS!

Right so, Goku is not bad but, he's missing his Blue Gi and Armor, in favour of five million variants of his Orange Gi.

Gohan is not too bad as well, but is missing the Saiyan Arc Battle Damage. His Movie 2 outfit and Ma Gi wouldn't hurt either. As for Cell Arc Gohan, wow, just wow, how can they NOT give us at least his Orange Gi? It's pathetic! Also, Armor. Purple Gi with cape wouldn't hurt. Future Gohan is still missing his armless "outfit"/battle damage.

Kuririn is missing his Buu Arc outfit. Why? Tenshinhan is still missing his as well. Also, both Kuririn and Yamcha could have the Kame Gi from the Jump special. That would be quite a treat.

Now Trunks, ah Trunks, need I say anything? Armor with short hair, Capsule Corp clothes and ripped sleeves. In defence, they would have to get a bit creative with short hair in Ultra Super Saiyan, and would have faced the same problem in regards of the Capsule Corp clothes. But really? Is it that much hard to be a bit creative around it? Also, I've been wanting a Super Saiyan 2 what if of this guy since the Budokai years.

Vegeta is well served. He lacks the battle damage on his third scouter outfit. The later years Vegeta could very well be merged with Super Saiyan 3, giving him a second outfit. C'mon, Vegeta already has a second outfit, why give his Super Saiyan 3 form a recolor?

As someone pointed out, Nappa needs a Scouter, seriously now, it's getting ridiculous. Also, his battle damage is a no show. Same goes for Raditz.

Videl is missing her cool FIGHT! shirt. It wouldn't hurt for Bardock to have an outfit sans headband. Nail's waistcoat. Paikuhan with no hat or turban. :(

Even though Goku has a fagillion variants of the same costume, #16 has no right for his CC logo variant. He also doesn't have his battle damage from fighting Cell.

In return, we're getting more recolours as DLC. The only one I find slightly interesting is Tullece in Kakarotto outfit, and even that looks lazy, they could have made a better effort to actually make him look like Kakarotto.

In sum: ANIMATING MODELS IS NOT FUCKING HARD. Why do we keep getting shafted?

I will never understand the hype for that costume. There's many others I would rather have, as I have pointed out, and that are actually more relevant.

Also, for attacks, I still haven't tried like, every attack from every character, but from what I can gather, Vegeta is missing both Nappa and Zarbon killing moves. Kudos on adding his Pui Pui and Jeice killing moves though. Goku SS3 lacks his Ryuken, this just baffles me. Also Cell doesn't have his suicide explosion move, lame.

As for items, I haven't got everything, but aside from the item that gives you instant battle damage, we could also have a Kaioken Aura item. I think there's a Fire Aura one though, so that's kinda cool for that Paikuhan effect, I might be wrong in that.

Oh by the way, thanks for the fucking Cave level, shove it up your asses. Where's my different-times-of-the-day stages? Where's fucking Mountain Road, Room of Spirit and Time and Ruined Earth? Also, Kame House, Random Planet and Space were nice as well.

Edit: I take that back from the Cave level, I just realized it's supposed to be where Goku fought Tullece.

Right, I'm not gonna be unfair here and shout "OMG MAN! WHERE'S MY FREAKING TOOMA!", so just stick around.

Let's take on the obvious first: Slug. Why? And don't give me that giant form bullshit, Vegeta also has a giant form, and so does Janemba. There's no reason for why he wasn't included. There's 4 empty slots on each corner, and if they dropped the bullshit and add SS3 what if forms to their respective counterparts, we would have gained 2 more slots.

First things first, old characters, Kaioshin. Now seriously, Nail's in and Kaioshin isn't? That's bullshit. And by the way, since they're so eager to finish related characters, like the artificial humans and Coola's forces, where's King Vegeta and King Cold to finish up those families?

As for movies, although Slug is the most obvious, Garlic is also missing, and as everyone knows, this feller also had his own arc. Also, Tarble's in but Tapion isn't, yeah, that's fair.

Skinny Buu and Seripa would also be nice, but I guess those pale in terms of importance.

Since they decided to complete "series" of characters, especially movie ones, they neglected the most obvious ones, Bojack's henchmen. By the way, I spoke of families back there, Paragus would have been a really really nice addition. Oh, Bio Broly is no where to be seen as usual, want to add a character no one added before? There ya go, and you'd be one step closer to complete the movie villains.

Now Abo and Cado could also have been added, there's no reason to why they shouldn't.

But wait! This is a "trying to complete the DBZ portion" kind of game, right? So now that the "complete series of characters" is out of the bag, where's Pui Pui and Yakon? And they also had Spopovich in that other game. Seriously now, they can't give me the "not enough screen time" bullshit, nor the "not enough moves", cuz, c'mon! Neiz, Dore, #14, #15 and even freaking Tarble are in.

I'm not being ungrateful here, I like what I have, what I don't like is the seemingly lazyness. Maybe they didn't have enough space on the disc, fair enough. But does an extra costume or extra move really take that much more space? No. The worse part is, I could say "maybe they'll add this shit on the next game", but they won't, I know they won't, all they'll do is add GT characters and be done with that. I even highly doubt that we'll get another animated special and a cool new or really old character to boot. Somehow, I just lost my hopes, they gave us way too much on this game, I don't think they're gonna give us much more on the next. The only GT character I'm really missing here is Uub.

Edit: Played with Cell Jr. last night. He's got Kamehameha and Super Kamehameha, whilst negleting Kienzan, Kikoho and Death Beam, this my friends, is absolutely pathetic. It's not lack of moves, it's lack of care.

There are a number of other costumes I'd rather have in the game, and Badman Vegeta is quite at the top of my list. Although, since post-Freeza arc Vegeta only wears four costumes, one of them is the Badman shirt and giving us a fucking black palette swap is just laziness of the highest order.

Well, he does have noth jumpsuit and armor, so he's pretty much covered. It's his SS3 form that has a black pallet swap.

Entirely agreed. The games are totally half-assed and neglect the most obvious things. It's as if they just don't know all these little important things exist or they don't care.
I still hope RB3 will add all of these things, even all GT characters.

Personally, I'd like a "Casual Outfits" DLC pack or something. Hawaiian Shirt Goku, Badman Vegeta, Postboy Piccolo, Pimp Krillin, Banana Suit Yamcha, all those fun outfits that aren't the goddamn Kame gi or Saiyan armor.

I can carless about COD and comparing COD with DBZ is crazy since they are nothing a like. I will admit that Black Ops is a great game, but I rather play Reach to be honset. Hell I rather play RB2 over Black Ops.

I misguided myself into the incarnation of the first game, but my yuestion will be the same:
So how is the game? We finally got our hands on Xbox with Kinect and I'm planning to buy it, but from what I saw and heard so far, it's again Dragon Ball fighter in the classic marketing style: ''Give me my money and fuck off here'' (Imatran Voima's lyrics from Give me my Money, greatly resembling nowadays marketing). So I'm thinking because there is lot of better games out there. What do you say?
It's worth it? We still have TB3 on Wii, which is probably the best DB fighter I've played to these days.
